for recording, they are using robbie williams' drummer. i don't think he i s full-fledged band member, but still... i would have liked to see alan white back or even ( i know this sounds crazy) TONY MCCARROLL - he is not the most amazing drummer, but this isn't a death metal or prog rock band! he is a straight forward drummer - which works for oasis. at least those 2 are true former members of oasis

starkey is awesome!!! i saw their show in philly. he put his own spin on the songs, which was cool, but i have also seen them with alan... and it just worked better. i like zak better when he played with johnny marr and the healers. even though, he is capable of playing anything, it felt a little "forced" with oasis. GOOD, but not the best fit. imo

zak recorded with oasis, he left after recording

he toured with them as well after recording the dbtt album. he was with them even during the recording of the new album, but left about 1/2 way through. i think they are re-recording the drums with the robbie williams guy. besides i think he had only laid down rough takes anyway.

I saw them in Paris in 2002 (with bearded Noel ya^^), 1st big Gig of my life and probalbly the best. Have seen many bands in many places some good some bad since but nothing as cool as my 1st OASIS in 2002. LIVE FOREVER MATES

Why others bands usually sound shit live ? 'cos they made all their albums with "PRO-TOOLS".

Oasis recording are nearly-live (like most of real band before them , Led Zep, Stooges, Stones). No shit effects on Liam voce, no "PRO-TOOLS" it's just Oasis.
