Brilliant. I had "Revolting Rhymes" as a book and a VHS when I was a little kid. It had such an impact on me that I now struggle to remember what parts of these stories are fairy tale tradition and which parts are Dahl. As far as I'm concerned Re Riding Hood has always shot the wolf at the end, and Cinderella has always run off to marry a man who makes marmalade.

@thebotman34 Glad you liked it. I don't know who the "cbb's" are, but I assure you that I made this short film. It was a project for high school film class. I was the director and editor, and my partner was the art director.

This is a creative and funny take on a beloved story of mine. I rather enjoyed the laugh and was recently thinking of doing my own take on Red for more mature audiences. Now I'm not sure I have the inspiration to take her seriously because this was so amusingly entertaining.

I remember when we had to choose one of these rhymes in Year Eight for a drama assessment. My group did "Cinderella" as did another group, and two groups did "The Three Little Pigs" which was like a sequel to this, but one group did this one, and I can remember the bit about Red Riding Hood shooting the wolf, although my favourite bit is when the wolf tells RRH that her lines are wrong because she hasn't said the teeth line.

@AReallyKwlProuction The forest Granny lives in, Ever-red Woods, is considered by state police to be the most dangerous forest in the southeastern United States. 3 to 6 hooded girls are reported missing or eaten each year. It is advised by state officials that all who enter the forest should carry a weapon for self defence. Riding Hood is merely obeying state guidelines.
