Controls are ok, and I would say buy the console veriosn if the gfx card in your pc sucks. There is also a 50 unit cap on the ps3, which includes everything, land , sea or air, and even your ore collectors. C&C is a pc game and always will be. End of.

Also the 360 versions frame-rate drop considerably when in big battles, while the ps3 version maintains a very good frame-rate. Graphically the ps3 version is superior to the 360 version. Its not just the lighting.

i actually have the PC version. the developers said is that the ps3 version will use some of the assets from the Pc build. thing is- it doesnt really. it has no anti aliasing (unlike 360) and yes, being able to switch the Pc version between medium and high/ultra water i can confirm right now, ps3's water shader is lower than 360s. its plain to see in this video on HD, that 360 has more complex water shading. far as i can tell ps3 has minutely improved texture resolution
My god the PS3 one is just brighter, these comparisons don't prove anything because it's just a port from one console to another, the only real difference I saw was the water, it looked better on the PS3. You should be comparing games that are made specifically for that consoles, then it's obvious the Sony console has better graphical quality albeit the graphics card is said to be better on the X360.

If you actually played the games on both consoles you would off the bat know that things like the smooth water and sharpness of cliff edges and brightness of explosions arre significantly in creased on ps3.

who cares with this game? all rockstar games looks better on xbox360 and they are my favorite like red dead redemption and gta4, on ps3 they have to be highscaled from 620p to 720p, on xbox360 they are already 720p

I have both the 360 and ps3 versions and the water on 360 is very choppy and barley shows wave effects, while the ps3's water is smooth and shows full wave effects and smooth wave effect. This is coming from a once 360 fanboy but I switched allegiance and now im a ps3 fanboy XD

Of course it's being upscales, many 360 games are, but at least it upscales. It's not gonna be as fine as a native 1080 but it's better than PS3's 720. It upscales for a reason. And EA admitted it was optimised but most people learn to not listen to the bullshit they come out with. Proves how much you know, coming to the defence of a crappy youtube graphics comparison! These two games are going to look the same on Youtube's 720p resolution. Red Alert 3 on the PS3 only supports 720p HD, where as the 360's output for this game is 1080p, the highest currently possible on a console, thus the 360 version has much clearer graphics.

no they get less games because PC has its own developers somewhat... like whoever made crysis... and they also get infinity ward and such.... but i like fps games better on console if they are available because i dont have to have such a powerfull/expensive machine to play it and the controller is easier to use then mouse and keyboard for me personally... but yes a rts is not meant for consoles.... its just not right. :P

i think its all preference... its still more expensive to build a PC then it is to just buy a console.. your preference is more with PC's because you obviously have a good Pc to enjoy them... while most of the population has PC's like me that can buy the games that are currently out... but then without upgrading thats all they can play... while you dont have to upgrade a console to play the games.

They downgrade the game (frame rates)
As consoles hardware has a rather higher rate of dying on much more "Tasky" games, such as crysis.
Crysis 2 may be optimized for consoles, but I assure you there will be loads of problems with it.

i actually have the PC version. the developers said is that the ps3 version will use some of the assets from the Pc build. thing is- it doesnt really. it has no anti aliasing (unlike 360) and yes, being able to switch the Pc version between medium and high/ultra water i can confirm right now, ps3's water shader is lower than 360s. its plain to see in this video on HD, that 360 has more complex water shading. far as i can tell ps3 has minutely improved texture resolution

My god the PS3 one is just brighter, these comparisons don't prove anything because it's just a port from one console to another, the only real difference I saw was the water, it looked better on the PS3. You should be comparing games that are made specifically for that consoles, then it's obvious the Sony console has better graphical quality albeit the graphics card is said to be better on the X360.
