  • You are so brave!! I think its awesome that you will risk criticism to make a video like this to help others! Hope your surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery! God bless!!!

  • Idk whats worse. Being fat or skinny with gross ass skin.

  • Just found your video. Congrats on the weightloss & skin loss! Love your upbeat attitude. You seem like a really super fun person! Continued success to you!

  • Way to go kid. I'm proud of you.

  • did your insurance cover it?

  • @Breannesss Yes, all of my skin removal has been approved by insurance, I have recieved $75,000 worth of skin removal surgery that was approved by insurance, keep an eye out for a video with info on how I got it approved, and the book that will be released soon, has ALL the surgery details and exactly how it was approved.

  • You really deserve a skin removal surgery, congratulations for all your hard work, and I hope you'll enjoy your new body!

  • @hollyinyellow77 - You didn't offend me at all! All I was saying is I agreed with your original comment to this video. I was also wishing SOiTiSTrUe luck in her road to recovery from the skin removal surgery she's referring to in this video. Of course after the fact I realised this was an old video and she's already posting from more recent times. :-) Happy New Year

  • Did the doctors give any indication if excersise would reduce or prevent this excess skin problem. Anyways well done keep it up and dont let any negatives in your life spoil the good work. God Bless you

    Bob

  • Oh man with all that build up I was ready for some real jelly - it wasn't that bad - that guy on TLC now THAT'S a problem he bent over and his could nearly touch the floor. or that woman on Oprah where her breast went down to her thighs, Oprah was like WOAH!

  • good job... :)

You are SUPER brave for posting this video... Thanks

  • @hollyinyellow77 - Agreed :)! May God richly bless this woman in her road to recovery.

  • @PeachesTOUR I sorry if I offended you. I was simply telling you thank you for being strong enough to post this video. I am not sure what road to recovery you are talking about...

  • You have been very successful with the weight loss. I feel if you continue with good qualified health professionals in another two years you'll be super woman. What you have accomplished many people only dream of. Congratulations to you. Proceed with your plan step by step. It's about you and not what others see or think. Just continue to take it slow as you know the risks involved.

  • Did you workout any while losing weight?

  • Good job on the weight loss!!!!

  • @Kakayate12 I'd like to have that diet solution also.. Its just so amazing.. Imagine? I lost a hundred lbs in performing those diet method. Amazing right?

PS= I think you misspelled the diet site, its WeightLossAction.Info..

  • wow

  • U r very brave

  • I hope your surgery went well. Ask your doctor about juice fasting (juice you make at home, not store bought). There are many proponents of juice fasting who state that loose skin will virtually disappear with juice fasting. Since you have had a bypass, you will definitely need a coach to ensure you are getting enough nutrients from the juices (having the proper mix of juices and supplements). Also, other proponents of fasting talk about lowering your body fat %age will decrease loose skin.

  • I just wanted to say that I admire you entirely. You are so confident and strong in front of the camera and it is great that you are showing people how you are doing in your progress. Thank you for posting this and I wish you nothing but happiness in the future. <3

  • Wow! You are so brave to make a video like this that has helped so many people. I admire your courage. It's too bad there isn't an alternative to surgery. Good luck and thank you for sharing this. I hope you know how many people you're helping by posting this.

  • Congratulations for loosing all that weight !

  • its really not that bad of a video, no different than seeing you in a bikini. Good luck with your operations and transformation. I know people with anatomical similarities and i know it probably weighs on your concience but im sure there is nothing as bad as being the size you were and you probably wake up every day feeling healthier, more active, more sociable and all around better! Its sweet of you to post this and i hope clowns such as daniel tosh stay clear of this vid and keep this serious.

  • thanks for the video...I am getting ready to have the surgery myself and have a big fear of the whole deal from the surgery to the excess skin surgery but I know it has to be done or I will cut my life short...thanks again and you look wonderful..

  • o wow.. I go for surgery on the 8th of August!! Im sooo scared of the excess skin lol I was thinking like you, like nooo I dont have to worry about that, blah blah lol.. I just have a question, did you exercise at all? Is there any way of preventing it? I asked my doc and got the typical answer, just go to the gym and crap lol

  • you are STUNNNNINGGGG... and your body is going to be SO TINY when you get your op to remove the excess skin. oOo bikini body here u come :)

  • lol you're too cute

  • HOLY FUCK I THOUGHT I HAD IT BAD

  • hey would u change all things considered, would u still have the bypass do u regret anything xxx

  • @chickadee1014 Knowing everything that I know now - No.I wouldnt be alive today if I didn't secure my future by facing the facts of being me. You know yourself better than anyone else ever will in this world, and the day I had surgery I was very much alone with the thought that I would rather die than continue being me.That thought still haunts me today, when I went into surgery I was facing my fears of death head on and I was okay with that. I made the right choice for me. I am a happier me.

  • Thank you so much. I appreciate your progress and all your hard work. I can't wait to see your success after surgery. I have lost 150 pounds and have about 50 to go. Could you talk about the expense of surgery?

  • i feel like pulling ur skin!! , you look great :)

  • Thank u so much for sharing this, i have been looking and looking for someone who was around my size when they started. I wanted to know if you regret it at all? Im asking because im scared to death about having surgery and not coming out of it or having problems and so on. Hope that u message me back. Thank you again for sharing your story. Who knows maybe i will do the same and share mine. Thank u so much.

    ~Morgan~

  • Hi!

I am 3 weeks to the day post-op and I had my GB in Wilmington, NC. I was wondering if you were in the same area and if your plastic surgeon was too. I had a great surgeon and hoping to find an equally as awesome plastic surgeon down the road. If you are happy with yours can you pass his name along?

  • hi!!! thanx for the video! verrrrry brave! I am interested to know...did you workout at all??like toning techniques. My speakers on my laptop dont work so forgive me if you mentioned weather you did or did not....

  • I had the surgery in mid January. I am so afraid of having any type of tuck surgeries... (If I lose all the weight I want.) I will wear my rolls of skin (when I finish losing the weight) and it will stand (for me) as a reminder of where I was when I was at my unhealthier weight. (Hope I can put my money where my mouth is when that day comes!) Take good care and thanks for the helpful videos.

  • well i know that in your case the only solution is surgey, sorry, but gaining muscle is a good way to people who have lost moderate weight loss (no more than 30-40kg) the skin has not the capacity co recover the right form if you hace lost 100 kg or something like that.

  • well, i think it´s a lot of weight loss. So, all that skin that there was covering your fat before, it becomes skin with no fat, in fact there´s nothing under your skin.

I recommend you to gain muscle, because it can fill the vacuum between your muscle and your skin. For example i loss about 15 kg. in about 5 months and i had the same problem than you but i do and i still keep doing exercises to gain muscle and it can help you.

  • hiii girl!! did your voice change as well? just wondering. you sound so different. is it a new camera?

  • @runtubefantasy lol, thats what happens when you go from smoking a pack a day to quiting cold turkey lol!

  • wow you are brave.. thanks for the video.. i am not sure i could have done it.. but you are beautiful.. thanks for sharing

  • YAY! How brave of you to show what is considered so shameful in our society! I hope all went well with your surgeries...

  • @sadeyeseeyore Thanks... and you cant be ashamed of who you are. This isme. If society feels it is shameful, then it is an issue they need to deal with - as I am dealing with it proudly =-)

  • Wow you are so brave to show your body on YouTube!! Thank you for your honesty!

  • I am arround 430 lbs and am looking forward to having my gastric sleev procedure done in about 6 months, but the excess skin that i have to look forward too scares me to death. Even as big as i am, i still concider my self to be sexy. (I may be fat, but Im not ugly. lol) So, my question is, what kind if insurance did u have that covered you skin removal procedures? Because from what i have been told, insurance companies concider that a cosmetic thing and usually dont cover that.

  • that was very brave of u im post op 1 more day i do thank u bcuz this video has help me

  • You rock. Thanks for posting this. I look forward to watching your other vids now that Ive found you.

  • Congratulations for losing all that weight, and once the skin is gone you'll weigh even less :) you go girl

  • I know I'm just repeating what everyone else is saying, but you are AWESOME! I'm hopefully going to get rny in 2011. I've been waiting for 11 years and it's stories like yours that give me hope and keep me going. : )

  • u are soo brave u inspirer me

  • U ARE STILL AWESOME!

  • Guess you are ok from surgery? Any more pics since you have healed?

  • I am on my way to surgery and wow U are really brave but i would be proud too of losing all the weight Awesome

  • Thank you for doing this. I was wondering...did you excersise or weight lift any after having gastric bypass done? I was told that if you excersise you won't have the excess skin so bad. I am going in for my first apt for gastric bypass and was wondering. THANKS

  • I'm so happy that you lost all the weight and that you had this skin removed.. will you post a video also after the skin removed? i will look at your videos see if something else is posted after

  • U r very brave for showing. Well done for your weight loss. Good luck with your surgery ♥♥♥

  • @pootytang52 Thank you!! Had my panniculectomy last friday, a week ago and am doing great! Healing well!! Hoping to get better asap so I can get onto my next surgery!!! :-)

  • Wow, you are really courageous to show yourself in this way. I'm sure you this has help a lot of people.

  • @NappyBeauty Thank you - I have nothing to hide so I figured it was nec to do this video. Cant wait to get my next surgery, I need to make a video to show more of what it looks like now.

  • You're amazing, thank you so much for sharing your story! Best if luck to you!!

  • how much is the surgery to remove the skin

  • @tonyaf4 depends on what you get. I am having multiple surgeries the first was a panniculectomy which generally runs about 9-12K - mine was covered by insurance.

  • I am 9 weeks post op. .. i am happy for you and at the same time sad for all the skin, i hope you can get it removed..im proud of you for your accomplishment!

  • @garrettmaria74 Thank you! and Congrats on being on the losers Bench!!! WooohooO!!! I had my Panniculectomy last Friday and has gone well!! :) Thank youf ro the compliments!!

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • You're brave for showing the skin. I started > 400 pounds. I have a lot of the same issues. I don't have the stomach issue, but I have the other issues.

  • @yalg22 if the "other issues" cause medical issues such as rashes or things of that nature then it is worth looking into plastic surgery, I always tell people it doesnt hurt to make an appointment and send a request for review to the insurance... and if it fails - send it again... what does it hurt? Good luck to you!!!

  • I want to understand more about what u said. U stated that it was hard, what was hard about it. What was the hardest thing about it? I feel so alone. I am about to embark on this journey by myself and I'm truly scared, but I have to do something cuz I have tried so much already. I want to really know cuz someone is get surgery after me and she wants me to be her future guide. Can u help me, to help me first. U can add me as a friend and then we can personal msg, cuz I know I need help with this

  • @mssmiley85 Feel free to message me! I will send you my cell and we can text or chat, it is easier than writing it all out as to what I mean by it was hard... as you can see with my videos I had complications - but when I say hard, I mean doing it alone... regardless of how hard it is or it could be - nothing is worth re-gaining your LIFE!

  • OMG u are the first person I have seen with the roll under your breats area, I have that as well, I though I was just disformed! I weighed 401 when I had my surgery and have lost 100 so far. Thanks for the video. I pray I can get plastic surgery.

  • @BBWVincyTrini Hi there - I know I was VERY embarassed of that roll under there when I was bigger, it was a terrible thing for me. I have many things I was embarrassed about like having PCOS (The Ugly Womans Syndrome - PolyCystic Ovarian Disease), and the complications with that ... Which if often why you get rolls like these... but plastic surgery is just another step of GB after a weightloss like this - CONGRATS on your 100 pound loss, it will be gone before you know it.

  • i just subscribe to your channel and i am commenting b4 i watch the v ideo, i read the details real quick and i already love u. i am waiting on my surgery date for my gastric sleeve surgery and i am 5 10 in height and i weight 434 and i was wondering what i would look like after i lose the weight. i cant find anyone who had lost anything in the twos that would show there excess skin. so i thank u for just being super bold honest to us. i think u so much and congrads. now im about to watch yo vid

  • @mssmiley85 Hi there!! THank you for watching! At my biggest weight I was looking for videos pre surgery and never found anyone my size who lost the weight - It was a blind thing for me, so thats why I wanted to ensure I made videos (as many as I could with my life changing as much as It did - so that way anyone else around 400 + would have an idea as to what to expect... Girl - You are making the right decision, this surgery was difficult, but WELL worth every step I took - jess

  • Great for you that you are getting this taken care of. You will be at least 20 lbs lighter after the swelling all goes down. Thank you for your bravery in sharing!

  • @LoriA1162 Thank you Thank you!!! 20 pounds - I HOPE!!! LOL

  • Videos like this are valuable to the WLS community! I did one, too, right before my tuck. I need to do another update one, 3 weeks postop tuck now. I'd do it over again! It's a tough recovery, but it's been SO worth it to get rid of the skin.

    Dena

  • @LiLtinee Hi there!! Thank you for your compliments... Yes, I feel they are too... I am nervous about the surgery but I had many complications throughout Post GB, so I am pretty much ready for anything. The skin wouldnt be that big of a deal to me if it wasnt so extreme and as you can see here it is pretty unbareable. I will def be going over to your channel - cant wait to see your videos!!

  • good luck on your surgery! ill be sending you my prayers.

  • WOW Girl, you have done amazing! I have found your videos very informative, and I thank you sooo much for your courage and honesty through out your journey! I just turned in paperwork to my pcp for referral to the surgeon whom I attended his seminar on monday night. I hope that I can be as diciplined as you! And thank you again for sharing this, you are very brave! BTW how does your insurance do with the excess skin removal? any coverage for that?

  • @jessgerow Hi there!! Congrats on your decision to move forward with the surgery! Most insurance companies will cover the plastics for your tummy area if it is extreme and due to medical issues (rashes) and so on. Most of the time your plastic surgeons office will provide paperwork proving it to be nec for you. Good luck to you on your process!!!! Feel free to ask any questions along the way if you need!! _Jess

  • Thank you for sharing this. I started at 417 and have constantly been wondering what I will look like when I get down towards my goal. Just out of curiosity, how tall are you? Congrats on getting all that removed soon, I'm sure you will feel like a new woman and you will be TEENY TINY! Can't wait to follow your progress.

  • @Bamboo2you Hi there!! Your more than welcome! And I am 5'6" And I will def keep yall posted throughout the whole plastic surgery trip! Also keep an eye out for Season Two! Beau (my bf) is getting Gastric bypass as well! As soon as we get a date we will start the videos!!!

  • Thank you VERY much for sharing!!! You are so Brave but I appreciate the insight.

My question to you is - is your insurance paying for your tummy tuck or are you paying for it? I'm just curious as to how much that runs without insurance!

anyway - thanks for showing! you are an inspiration :)

  • @ChanginMe4Me Hi there! My insurance is covering it for medical purposes, if you get rashes or any type of redness they can prove to the insurance company - the insurance company is obligated by law to look into it as a medical surgery "reconstructive" other than cosmetic. The cost depends on your surgeon, I know mine will run the insurance company about 17-20K of the extended time in surgery - its planned to be longer than my GB - 3-4 hours in the OR.

  • You're an incredible inspiration......and look fantastic!! I can only imagine how you'll look and feel once that excess skin is removed! I am post op, hopefully will have surgery this year or very early next. It's really comforting to have people like you here on youtube to share your experience and knowlege. Again, thank you and good luck to you!

  • @glamfan707 Are you Pre-op GB or Post op GB and pre op PS? Either way CONGRATS on making this HUGE step onto getting yourself a new lease on life! I was re-born May 12th 09!! Its my New BirthDay and Sept 10th will be my Second Birthday :-) Good luck - and if you have any questions feel free to message me!!

  • wow you are freaking awesome. and you would be tiny if you got it removed. Anyhow so awesome that you have lost 208lbs You are freaking awesome. Good luck on your with the surgery :) I am excited for you. ur beautful and will be even more so after surgery :)

  • @WLJwithCyndi TYTYTY for the compliments!! =-)

  • Thanks so much for this video! I am 15 months post op and I've lost 155 lbs and I have bout 60 more pounds to lose before I see a surgeon regarding lifts, and tucks. I can't wait to see your post-op video. You have done an outstanding job and you look fabulous!!!

  • @froznslvrlips CONGRATS on the weightloss!!!! 155 pounds is AMAZING!!! Thats a whole person you dropped off! I am proud of you - I went to see my surgeon and said "I know I have to lose more to be in for plastic surgery" and the first thing out of his mouth was "No you do not." If I was you I would look into your options for PS if you want to do so, and go for a consultation, they will tell you if the fat that is still there is able to be lost, to my surprise mine is not and needs to be cut.

  • thanks for sharin that video with us

  • @moviestartaal Your more than welcome. I hope it comes to help those worried about excess skin and can see that it is part of Gastric Bypass if your weightloss is extremely rapid and depending on your weight pre-op and how your fat has settled. It is something to look into if wanting to do so - although I know many people comfortable in the skin, and are just happy to have the fat off them. Me on the other hand - as you can see is still a HUGE problem lol.

  • I appreciate this so much! You looked so nervous!! How tall are you? I'm 5'10, right at 400.... Just trying to wrap my head around how I'll look myself in the future. Again, thank you so much!

  • @babycakesjk Hi there!! I am 5'6" I know people who were my height and weight that did not have as bad of skin as I do... it all depends on if it hangs or if it sticks out at your highest weight - even at my highest weight it would hang... so hanging will cause you to end up with this LOL.... And your more than welcome - I made a commitment in the beginning and will do everything in my power to keep to it :-)
