@busse40 you flyer fans are such a bunch of clowns. Nicky was far from hype, he was a real tough guy who didn't wear a helmut unlike all your 'so called' flyer tough guys. Not to mention a real gentleman who would never hit his opponent when he was down and defenseless. Sure he lost a few fights, but for the most part he was a wrecking machine, just ask Cunningham and Paula Holmgren...lol. Btw, he beat Wilson good when they fought and in this little scrum Wilson wanted nothing to do with him.
as a ranger fan, oh Lord how i miss those days when the flyers and rangers hooked up old scol hockey.....you always knew something would go down....i respected the flyers, they always had a tough guy team, the rangers finally grew some balls when they got fotiu, beck, hospodar, and others, the flyers had behn wilson (whom i consider the best fighter in hockey), holmgren, bathe, kerr, others. I MISS OLD SCOL HOCKEY!!!! plus the rangers and flyers announcers were the best.
