Its funny how many people think it eats turbos. Most of the actual racers using it I've spoken with haven't complained of excessive turbo wear. Obviously they are expecting a higher wear rate then a street car on all the vehicle systems but I've been told by one racer they ran it (ALS) all season with no ill effects. I believe he uses the same EMS as well.
i would so do this if i had spare turbos and manifold laying around. i heard the temps that they hit with it on are crazy and things dont last that long with it on
I would die for this on my sti. I find so little information about als systems, only 2 step (which everyone thinks is anti lag of course). I'm incredibly interested to have boost in the entire rpm range. I imagine this wears on the turbo, but are there any other major consequences?
Hello Markitos - Actually you are wrong, this is Antilag. With the throttle closed I hit 10 psi. The Autronic ECU retards the ignition (-40) and injects additional fuel enabling boost to build. In the video I give a slight rev to show the difference. I'm also use a throttle bypass to help build boost again with the throttle closed. 2-Step, which I utilize as well, is enabled with the throttle fully open and can be used for launch and flat foot shifting. Thanks for watching

people need to learn the difference between anti lag and 2 step.. what he has is a 2 step to build boost before lunching. Anti lag is an ECU induce full boost at all time. cars could by idling at 10-20psi with out even touching the pedal.

@Markitos203 i do not understand the difference.. What i know is 2 step is used on the line with the pedal to the floor and based on ur settings in ur ecu i retards timing and adds fuel to help build boost at a set rpm. now anti-lag? i have no clue.. what is that? the same thing? i cant find any videos to see an example of it
It's not backfire sweety
