Well done Heidi. Looking forward to the rest of this series and perhaps those living in the cities can begin to understand what is happening to the "Rural America Dream". All should understand that this attempt to remove four hydroelectric dams that serve 70,000 homes is based on an ESA listing of a non-native fish that is illegal. Agriculture is the life blood of any country and they are attacking it in every way they can.

Thank you! This story that impacts ALL CA residents. As the farmers- ranchers are driven out of business, we all loose rights, access to CA fresh meat and produce. With dam removal & "rewilding programs", we will all get taxed and see raised fees! California Fish and Game is now trying to buy a ranch butting up to Dwinnel Dam there for $33 million (one of many). Why this one? So they can remove Lake Shastina, home to 22,000 residents. Water Bond of 2012 & Wildlands Programs = land grabs.
