Nope it's you who's wrong. Look it up. 3DV made the ZCam. They were gonna release it themselves but then MS bought the assets. Now MS are releasing it as Project Natal. They released the original ZCam a few years ago. And they were gonna release this last year until MS bought it. Look it up
no dude, the way microsoft did the kinect is COMPLETELY different from the eyetoy on the gaystation 2..first off the eyetoy is just a webcam...one cam that u play the shittiest games on while the kinect has 3 cameras THREE of them to detect your body movement...like two eyes, the other is for like webcam and video chat and shit....just look up wsome good info on kinect because u dont know anything about it....

Next point. The Project Natal is most likely going to be an add-on to the 360. It doesn't make since for it to be an entirely new system when they already have an incredible system to work off of. And also with all the new technology coming up in the Natal, to have it as a stand alone system would simply be far too expensive, it wouldn't sell as much as they need it to. I'm fairly sure that it is possible for everything they are showing to be possible and functional. Maybe not to the T but close

Oh yeah and i forgot to add the failure rate. My 360 has broke 3 times in 2 years, my PS3 has only failed once in 2 years. 360 has a horrible failure rate. And on top of that the fans sound like a fucking vacuum they are loud as hell, I can rarely hear my PS3. And btw my 360 is brand new because it just broke so i got a new on.
natal could be good. ive read it WAS coming out on the 360 so.....yea. the whole idea of no controller and tracking of body movement shows how weve advanced in gaming technology, and frankly, im impressed.
Ps3 is better when it comes to having Blue Ray, more memory on a smaller hard drive, and it just has a nicer look to it. But when you are talking about a console that has the best games, the best online experience, and the biggest community, then I suggest you go with the Xbox 360. I've had the Elite for a year now, and had no problems. And with this, I think Microsoft is making a big up in the race against Sony.

You have to remember that Natal is still in early prototyping, so there will be glitches (the shoe incident, for example). It was confirmed at E3 that Natal would be an addition to the 360, so that means no new console.
I've played with the Wii Motion Plus, it isn't much, I don't see any difference between it and a regular Wii controller (without Wii Motion Plus).

What are you talking about I've saw very few hackers when it comes to PS3, but when it comes to 360 there are tons of hackers, like lag switchers. And most consoles are different retard, PS3 has blu-ray, an internet browser, bluetooth, different flash memory slots and a cell processor. And why wouldn't you want built in wi-fi I can go anywhere in my house and play my ps3 online, but my 360 is stationary. The PS3 does have more power, its not even utilizing all of it right now.

Didn't any of you guys see the video on youtube with some people using Natal with "Burn Out Paradise" , it was also done on the recent comedy show "Late Night with Jimmy Falon" and this game came out "Last Year"... So as far as being used for GTA or COD, compatibility does not seem to be the issue. Of course they're keepin the price under raps cause the device is a computer in itself, it does not use the XBOX360's resources so it will probably be between $150-$2xx.xx ....
I wouldn't want to use natal for a fps or driving game, there is nothing that can beat a steering wheel for a driving game because it is the real implement. I think the problem with all of this is no matter how advanced it gets, there is no way you can stop someone's movements, so in a fighting game even if your opponent parries you keep going, which puts you out of sync with your character etc.
I understand what your saying and you're right. Perhaps until we become as advanced like in Lawnmower man movie and have diodes connected to a body suit and connected to our cerebral cortex, when our characters fall down from a hit or similar then of course we will still be standing. but you have to admit we have come pretty far in the past 2 decaades since commodore 64? the future will surprise us, hopefully within our life time.

your right, they are trying too hard, you saw the new controllers for Playstation 3 and Wii. The only thing I saw was PS3 becoming like a Wii Controller ( which looks like a Glowing Ice cream cone ) and that presentation was a 1 on a scale of 1-10. They were trying HARD to pick up objects a flicking weapons around. What Competitors came out with was a poor excuse for controllers. The Wii add on showed nothing new. Next year they will rip open Natal and copy for their consoles.

Really? Natal DESTROYS the Wii entirely, and Sony have just copied the Wii and put some fancy graphics on it, not very well either. PS3 is now the same price as the Xbox, but the Xbox you can start with a base, cheap model, PS3 you can't. PS3 is going to be the biggest struggler in the next few years as Sony will refuse to make any more price cuts as it is determined to make the most powerful console, while Microsoft and Nintendo can continue to make price cuts as they reduce production costs.

We all know xbox was good when ps2 was around, it raped ass, but now ps3 is out, xbox can't keep up, they did not know ps3 had wireless controllers, free network gamplay, play station stores, music, videos and file sharing, photo, chat and web cam ability, voice, video and IM chat ability, full internet browsing and downloading, flash video and WMV file conversion software so u can watch anything on your ps3 with a big tv, u can even dowload pc games and play them on ur ps3, their is software

What is your sources to say these things? According to the reports no one really knows, and it isn't as if it cannot be an add-on to the already exist 360. According to Microsoft they expect 360 to have a life cycle well into 2015.

Oh yeah and i forgot to add the failure rate. My 360 has broke 3 times in 2 years, my PS3 has only failed once in 2 years. 360 has a horrible failure rate. And on top of that the fans sound like a fucking vacuum they are loud as hell, I can rarely hear my PS3. And btw my 360 is brand new because it just broke so i got a new on.

Ps3 is better when it comes to having Blue Ray, more memory on a smaller hard drive, and it just has a nicer look to it. But when you are talking about a console that has the best games, the best online experience, and the biggest community, then I suggest you go with the Xbox 360. I've had the Elite for a year now, and had no problems. And with this, I think Microsoft is making a big up in the race against Sony.

You have to remember that Natal is still in early prototyping, so there will be glitches (the shoe incident, for example). It was confirmed at E3 that Natal would be an addition to the 360, so that means no new console.
I've played with the Wii Motion Plus, it isn't much, I don't see any difference between it and a regular Wii controller (without Wii Motion Plus).

ok well one i made it obvios i didn't know if you could or couldn't, so don't imply that i did. oh and thanks da2freestylebois just reminded me of something, the fact the ps3 has blue ray dosn't mean shit, blue ray is a much slower data transufrer, most companys end up puting multiple of the same file on the disc to reduce load time. and it has no antiaylsing just look at the specs, most consoles have very small amounts of it, but ps3 has none.

Ok let me think does 360 even have wi-fi, no, that comes free with ps3 but its $100 more for 360. PS3 has many other technical advantages, 360 is pretty much the first xbox except its smaller and has a little better graphics, but not as good as PS3. And it is true 360 has a larger community but look at all the exclusives coming for PS3 and the fact of the new slim model. Oh and also who wants to pay for online, can you say rip-off.

What are you talking about I've saw very few hackers when it comes to PS3, but when it comes to 360 there are tons of hackers, like lag switchers. And most consoles are different retard, PS3 has blu-ray, an internet browser, bluetooth, different flash memory slots and a cell processor. And why wouldn't you want built in wi-fi I can go anywhere in my house and play my ps3 online, but my 360 is stationary. The PS3 does have more power, its not even utilizing all of it right now.

not true the xbox is struggling the most at the moment making drastic price cuts just to stay in the game and the wii is still behind the ps3 the ps3 cam out 1 year after the xbox 360 so it has some better upgrades and free internet many of these things would actually save you money if you bought the ps3 instead of 360 there have been rumors of them remakin the 360 to get it back up in competiton because the 360 is the worst of the newer consoles then the wii and at the top is the ps3

Didn't any of you guys see the video on youtube with some people using Natal with "Burn Out Paradise" , it was also done on the recent comedy show "Late Night with Jimmy Falon" and this game came out "Last Year"... So as far as being used for GTA or COD, compatibility does not seem to be the issue. Of course they're keepin the price under raps cause the device is a computer in itself, it does not use the XBOX360's resources so it will probably be between $150-$2xx.xx ....

I wouldn't want to use natal for a fps or driving game, there is nothing that can beat a steering wheel for a driving game because it is the real implement. I think the problem with all of this is no matter how advanced it gets, there is no way you can stop someone's movements, so in a fighting game even if your opponent parries you keep going, which puts you out of sync with your character etc.

your right, they are trying too hard, you saw the new controllers for Playstation 3 and Wii. The only thing I saw was PS3 becoming like a Wii Controller ( which looks like a Glowing Ice cream cone ) and that presentation was a 1 on a scale of 1-10. They were trying HARD to pick up objects a flicking weapons around. What Competitors came out with was a poor excuse for controllers. The Wii add on showed nothing new. Next year they will rip open Natal and copy for their consoles.

not necessarily, Microsoft have been working on the software and technology for over 20 years, and I assume they'll have contracts which mean that Sony and Nintendo will basically have to design it from scratch again.

Really? Natal DESTROYS the Wii entirely, and Sony have just copied the Wii and put some fancy graphics on it, not very well either. PS3 is now the same price as the Xbox, but the Xbox you can start with a base, cheap model, PS3 you can't. PS3 is going to be the biggest struggler in the next few years as Sony will refuse to make any more price cuts as it is determined to make the most powerful console, while Microsoft and Nintendo can continue to make price cuts as they reduce production costs.
