This was a very good explanation. Why do women only have this 'friendzone trick shit?' Once you are friends it's already to late to start a relationship. But why do they want men as friends? Okay when it comes to best friends, they already love you in a "friend way", and nine times out of ten, they may like in you in a "chemistry type" of way. Not a dying passion, so in love with that you can't think straight, but like you, where they could hide it, very well. It is very hard to know someone so well and care for them, and never think about them "like that".

There are two ways, but if you REALLY want a relationship you have to tell her that you have been thinking about your relationship and thought it would be best if you ended it. That is only true if you see each other on the regular (like at school) otherwise move on. If YOU have feelings that she doesn't then you are in for a world of hurt. You gotta move on.
Its amazing how all those 80's movies basically tell you how it goes. The guy wants his friend he gets NOWHERE until he starts hooking up with the hottest girl in school. Dating your best friend is a big NO NO, been there done that. And lost a good friend in the process. Best friends and lovers are different feelings and emotions. I believe you can make a great friend out of a lover, but too much risk making a best friend in a lover. Cause if the time comes round when you break up, it can be very hard to keep together that friendship you had before. Don't mix the two, it doesn't work. Some thing are never meant to be and sometimes a best friend is better.

This was a very good explanation. Why do women only have this 'friendzone trick shit?' Once you are friends it's already to late to start a relationship. But why do they want men as friends? Okay when it comes to best friends, they already love you in a "friend way", and nine times out of ten, they may like in you in a "chemistry type" of way. Not a dying passion, so in love with that you can't think straight, but like you, where they could hide it, very well. It is very hard to know someone so well and care for them, and never think about them "like that".

There are two ways, but if you REALLY want a relationship you have to tell her that you have been thinking about your relationship and thought it would be best if you ended it. That is only true if you see each other on the regular (like at school) otherwise move on. If YOU have feelings that she doesn't then you are in for a world of hurt. You gotta move on.

Its amazing how all those 80's movies basically tell you how it goes. The guy wants his friend he gets NOWHERE until he starts hooking up with the hottest girl in school. All of a sudden he "exists" for her. Along the way there is dancing, and singing...and a crossdressing football/ basketball player....but in the end the guy gets the girl. Moral of the story, if you want your best friend you got to be wanted by other women.

This is a toughy. But it'd be better if you just tell about the way you feel bout her. She may get shocked for a while but will eventually cool down. Who knows?, She may love you back too. And if you get back with your ex for the 5th time, don't you think that isnt sort of right? Dating your best friend is a big NO NO, been there done that. And lost a good friend in the process. Best friends and lovers are different feelings and emotions. I believe you can make a great friend out of a lover, but too much risk making a best friend in a lover. Cause if the time comes round when you break up, it can be very hard to keep together that friendship you had before. Don't mix the two, it doesn't work. Some thing are never meant to be and sometimes a best friend is better.

Think about it man. It's a big risk but it can be worth it. I recently started dating my best friend, and she's fucking amazing. We're like two puzzle pieces, alike @ the right places and not alike @ the right places. I know her well enough 2 know how to make her happy, and vice versa. Go for it William it is better than waiting around and thinking what if? And yes she may not have the feelings for you but it is a hell of a lot better to move on than hang around someone you love in an unrequited way. I have experienced this and yes it does hurt like hell but I will never regret my decision to walk away. If I were you be busy and heavily reduce spending time with her and she will appreciate you more.

I took the chance once, we got into a 5 month course together and I asked her on a trip in Northern Canada, she said no. She got angry with me and now she hates me, but she has alot of the same friends as me, which constantly reminds me of how stupid I was to risk it. I felt such strong chemisrty, but she didn't, so now I am left with nothing.
Take my advice from the open end of the gun, play it safe. Don't make a move unless you KNOW she is feeling similar. It hurts to be shut out. :(

I was in the friend zone, it wasn't pretty but then I decided to take the chances and ask her out. She said yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the sad thing was, I said some things and she broke up with me. It's really not good thing to lose your first girlfriend. After we broke up, she stopped talking to me. I had to beg one of her friends to convince her to forgive me. i'm going out with someone who was my friend. i think it's easiest to take it in stages, like hugging goodbye, smiling at them more, looking into their eyes and stuff, then you can see how they respond and if it's positive then they'll probably say yes. i'm in the best relationship i've ever been in and it's with a guy who has been my best friend for a while :).

I was actually in this situaiton ive known her for like 19 years and im 21 (still young lol) but i felt the chemestry was there so i went for it and you know i sat her down and talked it out, also she had a boy friend at the time so really wasn't a good time to talk to her about this anyway so i really wouldn't have gotten a real answer anyway but she said no but we are still best friends and everything so basically it all matters how that girl will reaspond so there is no real way to tell ya

You've known since you were two years old. You have been stuck in the friendship zone for a long time so deal with it and use this chick ie friend as a door to meet other women. Yes, having a woman friend with you makes you look a lot sexier than going by yourself. Just make sure your friend knows her role and to make you look like an awesome guy not mr. super nice guy.

fuck the friend bullshit! If a chick throws me in the friend zone, i tell them immediately that I am not interested in being their wet blanket for relationships with other guys. You would be surprised how being direct can spark chemistry.

I was in that Zone and I tried to break free , ended up losing a friend. Then everytime I see her makes it worse an worse. I'm always avoiding her and she Avoids me. (I think)
