Did a little checking and I found a site that has the offical statement of the other cop who had his knee on Grant.

From reading his statement of what happend it seems clear that the cop who pulled his gun and shot actually was going for his Taser.

If this is true then the murder charge is not the correct charge in this case.

If the facts in the trial prove that the shooter-cop thought he had pulled his Taser then you could well see a "Not Guilty" result on the murder charge.
