  • Finally got a date!!!!!

    Can't wait for March 13th!!!

    Must have it now!!!

  • its weird how you can be playing together with someone for so long then all the sudden go separate ways. I can imagine both of us walking different way in the desert and we'll never meet again(or at least we won't know if we do).

  • Sand, silk, and stone. What more could you need?

  • I would play this just for the music. So beautiful and haunting...

  • This reminds me of ICO, nostalgia. ;)

  • Come on! I been waiting for almost 10 years for such an amazing game!

  • OMG, I love the music!!! Makes me want to buy the game even more!!!!

  • the music will be in all the game?

  • @Peter0rb2866 yes it will

  • I LOVE how everyone thumbs up the comment to me without reading my comment so they think i'm a cod tard. I tried black ops on a friends ps3 at school. not the best. I am not a cod tard. the comment is because I thought hte game was gonna be lame, but thats my oppinion. Personally i think the game has potential but will tank like the 3ds.

  • The people in the desert look creepy

  • Has there been a release day set yet? I've been looking forward to this game for what seems like, forever.

  • @OpenSeasonOnXbots spring of this year

  • beautiful music!

  • This. Is. Going. To. Be. Amazing.

  • THANK you for making god of war games for my ps2&psp

  • Sounds both beautiful and hauntingly lonely.

  • Journey, The Last Guardian and Ni No Kuni are 3 of my most anticipated PS3 games right now.

I'm blown away about the fact that the Macedonian Radio Orchestra is actually performing the music for one of my most anticipated games right now! Was this recorded in here in Macedonia? If so that's awesome.

Never thought I'd see my country involved in anything gaming related like this much less in a game I'm looking forward to so much, this is awesome! :)

  • @ShinigamiKiba Me too :D Shame that Journey, The Last Guardian and Ni no Kuni have no release dates, at least Journey and Ni no kKuni have windows of release. :D

  • @elvickRULES

I was looking at some old Game Informer magazines and they were like LOOK this new game Rage is coming out really soon. The magazine was 3 years old. Rage just came out. Then it was like HEY Walking DEAD in 2011!!!! The game's not out yet. No release date... These developers really need to get over this whole milestone method of producing games and get to freaking work. I'm sick of partial (DLC?!SC2), buggy, late games.Sad that Japan is pretty much finished with game development.

  • @ShogaNinja What the fuck are you talking about?

    Nevermind, I don't care.

  • @elvickRULES

You cared enough to respond. This game is a lame concept. period.

With rare battles, puzzles, action, or interactions what is left for a game?

For at the end of the day ALL games have a formula that focuses on one of the four aforementioned game mechanics. Journey appears to have very little of any of these things. Who wants to see a fake looking desert when you can, I dunno, get pussy or watch a movie, or play a real game. THAT'S what I'm talking about. Exclusivity is also fail.

  • @ShogaNinja Now I know what you're talking about.

You're trolling. Really badly too, are you a dropout? Stay in school trollies.

  • @elvickRULES

I have a master's degree in schooling your ass.

  • The music is awesome, the game looks shitty and boring. I have read a lot about this game in Game Informer magazine and it sounds silly. Yeah, some may consider this art, but when you are paying for entertainment I want a game where I have excitement. Who wants to run around a desert alone for hours on end just to talk to a giant white dildo man? Besides, it's PS3 exclusive which is so draconian and old fashioned. Why cut off 2/3rds of the market?

  • @ShogaNinja I believe the game will have more to offer, than we have been told this far about it. I believe the game will have a DLC package that will open up the gameworld to a open earth sized planet, that will be streamed into your PS3 from PSN. The gameworld terrain will be a exact copy on our moon and exactly of the size of our moon, but been transelated over to Journey. Just imagine the size of the map you would be able to explore. The game sure having potential.

  • @HKH73

If I want to explore the moon I'll join NASA or buy a telescope. If all you are doing is running around and OCCASIONALLY meeting weird white dudes then where exactly is the game? Where is the fun in that? If art means staring at a desert screen for hours on end I will pass. I can go see art at the local museum that has free parking on Fridays. They have shit from Japan, China, and the Renaissance period. Plus after a date like that I sure to get laid and that is way fun. I'm just sayin'

  • I am amazed. I already thought of music as one of the primary elements of videogames, but this game beats everything I have seen so far.

    A definate must have...

  • The music is very reminiscent of Flower.

  • This is what I call ART,

  • looks and sounds beautiful.

  • Y U NO MAKE PC VERSION ?

  • Another game that proves guns and porn aren't needed to be good!

  • Please port this to pc console gamers won't get it and won't buy it. PC gamers would throw money at you for a game like this.

  • @bogart99 Console gamer's won't get it?

  • Why don't I already have a PS3?? :'(

  • ps3 only? noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • @AncaraMarte hahaha sony wins^^

  • can't wait! :O

  • This is not a game ... THIS IS ART !!!

  • this in my opinion looks fucking stupid and retarded but if any studio could make a stupid idea good its santa monica but ill just stick with my action games

  • no gamertags no mics just a bunch of people in one big world sounds pretty nice

  • The music sounds great! Very Kow Otani. I hope they release the music with the game but the video was far too short :(

  • People, don't bother thumbs downing my comment or telling me I'm hating. I've given many games a chance, portal sounded like a very repetative game, loved it, minecraft? Looked like a 5 minute game, now i run a minecraft server. I'm allowed to have a opinion and I am allowed to state it.

  • Hope its not as boring as Flower

  • @sangolt88 pop a stimulant and then play flower. you'll change your mind about what you just said ;)

  • This looks............................... EPIC.

  • this looks like it sucks. but the music rocked.

  • @iToasterman Go play in the street, fucko.

  • @wetworx78 Why don't you? Your retarded eneugh to pay $600 for a ps3. while I enjoy my $200 xbox. Now gtfo.

  • @iToasterman I'll give you one more response...I have both consoles and had my Xbox longer than my PS3. How do you even get off thinking a PS3 costs that much?...who's been selling you those magic beans? You're just hating on a great work of art from a talented team of developers. I don't want to generalize the type of gamer you are, but you seem to be of the ilk that compares everything to COD and anything that doesn't involve shooting guns at enemy troops is crap. This is how you spell enough.

  • @wetworx78 Original price. The last price i saw was 299$. And your calling me a cod gamer? A player who perfers gta minecraft and portal, a cod gamer?! The people who thumbs up'ed your comment think im cod gamer. I am not.

  • @iToasterman One thinks, the lady duth protest to much ;)

  • @wetworx78 YEAH afterall its just a console WHY hate another ? its stupid and childish

  • @iToasterman lololol $600 for a ps3?

  • Comment removed

  • man when i saw this i was like ":C lucky ps3 owners" and then i was like WHOA i have a ps3 YES

  • normally i dont like games like this, lacking; story, duologue or in-depth character personalities.

but damn this game ... i want to play it sooo bad ... if not for the beautiful music, just to find out what happens when one gets to the mountain ...

  • Just after Nintendo did Zelda with all-sinfonic soundtrack,Sony does this ._.

  • @KazMiiller areyouserious.jpg

  • @joguimatrix not really

  • @KazMiiller Its called making japanese games

  • I Love it!

  • Thumbs up if you're proud of having a PS3!

  • I'm so glad I've got a PS3.

  • What is this beautiful piece of work?(The game and the music) And why didn't I find out about it sooner?

  • Can't wait to experience this masterpiece.

  • ....what I saw and listened to,of course. ;-)

  • Also there's too much fastest and cinematographic action in the game of nowadays,by now they're all very similar each other, iperrealistic look outside, but often scarce depth and feeling/soul inside. Why don't we try also simple and soothing things, once in awhile? ;-)

  • I used to be able to surf on sand with two feet, until I took an arrow in the knee.

  • unable to view on mobile!

  • And even after watched that video, is there still anyone out there who thinks that the videogames aren't an Art form? :)

  • Can't wait to play this game, looks better every time I see it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Lagash1973 Video games are the culmination of art, music, acting, and technological knowledge. If that is a work of art then I don't know what is.

  • @LordJamesCeader Not necessarily a videogame has to be all that each time altogether. ;-) You're referring to a single genre: adventure and you're also neglecting two keywords: style and meanings (implied symbolisms), the main human artistic expressions since the ancient greek art. :)

I don't know yet what will exactly be the gameplay of Journey, but what I saw here, excited me somehow, and to me that's enough to feel human Art applying. ;-)

  • anyone else finds the game looks boring yet original?all you guy's see is a floating thing flying in sand

  • N1

  • cool
