However eating meat has been a very extensive tradition of humans, since the dawn of man. I agree, nowadays, we have more sensible ways of getting our protein, but it's either that we love the taste of meat, it's built in our genes, or people are so out of touch with where there meat comes from.

I don't see how anyone would see the juxtaposed COLOUR footage of Gould from a much later date and think this is from the same event.
