  • great video too bad is so short

  • I've got exactly the same camera as yours but every time I try to import it to Premiere Pro, it said 'the file is not supported". So I have to convert it and the quality is so much worse and no sound. How did you do it exactly??

  • @sicmotherfaker : You have to copy the whole AVCHD structure to your PC and import it in Premiere, it works fine.

  • The video quality is better than real life eyesight quality! It's hyper-realistic!!! How do you do that?

  • @CleverDjembe : This is how good the camera is, i just import it in Premiere and export is to youtube, no editing!

  • @sbulfz6 : No with Adobe Premiere

  • That's funny, I watched this video on Vimeo and found it by accident on youtube.

  • Excellent. I have the S10 (same cam effectively). But I can't get this sort of quality, either. It's all very jumpy. I edit in Premiere Pro CS4 and render out to MP4/H.264. But I get lots of jaggedy lines and jumpiness where there's movement.

  • Can you tell me why your HF S100 footage looks so much nicer than mine? Mine seems more saturated and not as sharp. Is it because I exported to 1920x1080? Did I just not shoot the scenes properly? Was it because I used Pixela ImageMixer to produce an output *.m2ts file? Possibly, it's due to the fact that my graphics chip is motherboard integrated and not a high quality stand-alone card? Anyway, brilliant stuff! Thanks for sharing.

  • Can you give me an example?

For HD editing you need at least a quadcore and min. 4Gb RAM and a good videcard to edit in raw mode.

  • @kingpinlifeofcrime Well that is not totally true, i have a dualcore 3 gb ramand a very sucky ass video card, and i could do HD redering and editing, though my computer was very laggy, for fluent editing, your specifics are pretty much right

  • @Vanquiza : Did you edit in Premiere REALTIME, i can't believe you can do that with 3Gb and a crapy videocard.

Especialy when your footage is very large, say about +8 minutes it's hard to edit with your config, even mine will stutter with a large footage.

  • @kingpinlifeofcrime Heyy again, no i editted in Powerdirector 7,8,9. Ionno if that makes a difference. I was kinda laggy though, and i rendered about 4-8 minutes vids in HD, but when the rendering was on i couldnt really do shit until it was done, because well, it IS crappy xD but it was possible. Might've been powerdirector though, i don't know much about this stuff :)
