I really could care less about his playing ability.. Most of these pro players have good years and bad years. When Strickland wins us open or world 9 ball or any other big tourney again then maybe you can talk. But in my opinion he best days are over. And to top it off, yes he is a huge winer, he is very annoying, and that takes away from how I perceive him as a pool player. Could he beat me in pool? heck yes! Is better than Immonen or souquet, nah. Not to me.

Strickland defeated VanBoening by 17 games in a race to 100 on a 10 footer. Strickland´s achivements are waaayy more recognized than those of any other player on earth. 5 times US open champion baby. I think alternating breaks gets rid of the issue of the making balls too easily on the break.

I have to disagree with Neils about the break. I love to watch people run 4 and 5 + racks. It may or may not be fair but it is still fun to watch. The alternating break can work against a player also so I don't think there really is a fair way to handle the break. The only real way to make the break fair would be to take the break out of the game and just set the balls in a predetermined spot and see who could run out the most and that would be just silly.

A Parris cue. Looks like a club cue, but plays pretty well. A lot of cuemakers have similar models like Predator Sneaky Pete line, great for hustling.

Thanks for the positive feedback:) I mearly pointed out my opinion on the cue model to answer blueiseverything's question. I actually don't hustle people, I compete with a pretty obvious McDermott cue. I guess you disliked the movie The hustler with Paul Newman.
