Well Don't call me an idiot or something but this is kinda interesting... if you smack your mouth it helps allow oxygen into your mouth and stimulate your taste buds allowing for better perception of flavor... I was watching How it's made: ice cream.. and the taste tester said it... but i think it's a pretty good excuse for smacking your lips.
