There is a level of greed here that needs to be examined...on both sides. It's funny how people can hand over MILLIONS of dollars expecting a return and won't give $20 to help a homeless person or an inmate re-enter society. How does the saying go - you reap what you sow.
Why are all the major news networks giving this much coverage to such thieves?They contemplated suicide? That's the LEAST, THE VERY LEAST, they could've done. ANd they didn't even begin to do that because they realized the number of lives they had ruined, they only thought up suicide when they got caught. RATS.
At least 1 is dead. The rest of them should follow his shining example. They stole more money and ruined more American lives than any family in the history of this country.
@aoinatafanboy84 According to US terrorism law if one family member is a terrorist it gives the government the right to kill the whole family. Just look at Al-Alwaki and his family. (can't spell it don't care) I think it's crappy that the Madoff family was effected by the trading scheme, but its hard for me to feel bad for them. I'm sure hundreds of other people killed themselves because of losing everything they had.

I only implied they weren't entirely innocent and I've heard the press about Bernie and Ruth, they are the two conspirators no matter how you look at it. Their son more than likely took his own life because of the disgrace he felt over his parents and all the millions suffering.
