i am from HK and stationing in Shanghai. The things that i think this city needs to improve are the traffic and its people. I cant blame them as they are developing country and takes a few generation to know what they are doing is wrong such as spitting, urinating on the street, shouting and yelling in the public. But the thing i hate most is people smoking inside the lift which really pisses off.
Apart from that, i think sh is ok with the local girls much more easy to please!

Shanghai traffic has HEAVILY improved over the past decade and a half. I was there in 1995 and most streets were still narrow, packed market places where only the smallest cars and most experienced drivers could travel through. Now, they've added new roads, widened the old ones, and limited the number of outdoor marketplaces.

No surprise there, for most part I found the food in china... less than adequate.. Still, I ate one of my best meals ever in China to, in a dumpling restaurant in Beijing.
I've only been to Shanghai once, I came straight from an incredibly smoggy Beijing, and there had just been a storm passing Shanghai I think (this was in the summer 2006). Clear skies, bright sun and rather clean air compared to Beijing. But I suppose that was because of that storm that had cleared the air.

No surprise there, for most part I found the food in china... less than adequate.. Still, I ate one of my best meals ever in China to, in a dumpling restaurant in Beijing.

I liked Shanghai much more than Beijing.. Those are the only two large cities I've been to in China.

I've only been to Shanghai once, I came straight from an incredibly smoggy Beijing, and there had just been a storm passing Shanghai I think (this was in the summer 2006). Clear skies, bright sun and rather clean air compared to Beijing. But I suppose that was because of that storm that had cleared the air.
