  • HORRAY FOR FLUSHING TOILETS!!!

  • @animesis Yes, Countries like Sweden, Germany , America and Italy...

  • @robasci00 It's just easier to define the era as Victorian for English speaking countries as the century as a whole was the time of the Industrial Revolution and invention the world over. I'm sure the Italians, Swedish etc have their own names for it. The French refer to it as 'La Belle Époque' I think. Either way, referring to anything 'Victorian' in an English speaking country means it will be recognised as referring to the 19th Century... Simplifies things a lot, but then, this is for kids!!

  • Victorian?? Means English? Some examples: The first typewriter proven to have worked was built by Pellegrino Turri (Italian) in 1808, wireless telegraphy (The Radio), was patented by Guglielmo Marconi(Italian), even Tesla, Hertz, Edison, Braun and Popov have given their contribute; Telephone's paternity has been now attributed to Antonio Meucci(Italian)... Nobel was Swedish

  • @robasci00

Victorian doesnt neccessarily mean English :) Due to Queen Victorias HuGe Empire, most English speaking countries and many old colonies refer to this time as Victorian as well as the English

  • @robasci00 um hello? victorians did invent nearly everything!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!
