  • Absolute top bloke, love his attitude!

  • I love people who love what they do and this is one of em!

  • Some of the greatest music committed to vinyl was cut by this man. Huge respect and grateful thanks!

  • excellent, thanks for uploading this.

  • What a passion.. I wish all mastering engineers were like that

  • Thankyou for posting this. It's great to put a face to the runout groove inscription. A true legend!

  • 100% legend

  • i want to give this guy a big ol' hug!

my favourite records were cut by this man

    god bless porky!

  • I have skream skreamism vol 2, and on Blipstream you can clearly see how far apart the grooves are for all the bass to fit in. Love vinyl and collecting, and I'm from Kansas USA.

  • Love this guy. He understands music as a whole.

  • How does losing top-end as you get older affect decisions? Is it worth asking a younger persion about the treble or just rely on graphic EQ?

  • @ToneSpectra both.. the older persons experience can be quite beneficial. But, you dont know how sensitive each persons ears are. I discovered during a work physical, that I max the standard american machine to the max, in dis-believe of the Dr's. This is can prove.

  • @ToneSpectra damn, its early... lol When I take a hearing test, on a standard American testing machine, I take the machine to the max. The Dr's dont believe it, and have never seen anything like it. I have the test results to prove it.

  • great film,Porky Prime Cuts were always class,George is a top guy,unique.

  • For the love of the music, not for the love of money. There is the passion of an (electronic & musical) artist!!!

  • A fairchild, holy fuck.

  • where can i contact this man if hes still alive?

  • @ReCell02

I think he lost his business due to a partner screwing him a few years back, at the least I was not been able to reach him a couple of years ago, which is a loss to the industry, not only is he a great engineer and an affable chap but he also told the absolutely worst jokes you will ever hear .... non stop

  • @reiknir Found him, he now makes his living selling music memorabilia, search for "Porkys prime cuts" on ebay UK

  • haha , hes a stone cold dude !!!

  • I love the fact he's rocking along to that..

  • Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Joy Division, to drum and bass and everything in between...... Absolute legend, bands that don't master are slack.

  • What is that he's playing? Anyone?

  • @trasigasfalt2 The Visitors - We're Into That :)

  • 02:42

  • these ppl should try an A-B comparison between a loudness war track and an unmastered at same perceived volume... guarantee they never tried it once....

  • What a nice bloke!

  • "Hihihi" Haha I just love this man!

  • what a nice, happy bloke

  • i do it for the love.

  • Think this perfectly illustrates just how open-minded mastering engineers usually are - just well into the music, regardless of what genre it is. From the Beatles to D&B, it's quite a musical leap but he even has the off-beat headnod right! And he knows how to use a VMS80. Badman.

  • This guy is a nut!!!! But i want his job.

  • this guy is the man

  • Would love to master an Astrophonica release with him!!!

  • Great attitude. Shows in his work. Lots of good learning too.
