I've loved this series & soundtrack since I saw it on Showtime in the 80's! Every time I feel a little down & out I watch an episode or two and instantly I feel better. I escape the city for a bit and head straight to Sherwood. Thanks for posting this video.

Ahh, memories from my youth, I was 14 when this was being filmed (1984) by HTV west, around the city of Bristol in England. I can remember there was an accident while filming, and an archer got his shot wrong, and they actually had the film camera in the HTV news studio, with an arrow through the lense!!!  The camera man was very lucky to be alive!

As you say, Nothing is ever forgotten!

Clannad's music in this Robin Hood series makes it very authentical concerning the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. I've enjoyed this TV serie a lot when I was a kid. Unfortunately, nowadays they make mostly crap. I'm glad that I can still watch BBC.

Thanks for posting!Great cast of characters,brilliant storylines and a haunting musical score.Robin,Littlejohn,Ray Winstone(as will scarlett),Much,Friar Tuck,Nasir and a gorgeous redheaded Maid Marion.Loved them all and I especially loved the way the Sheriff always treated Gisbourne as a serf with such blatant sarcasm and rudeness.

....I think deep down Michael Praed really regrets leaving of RoS, when he looks back at old clips of RoS you can see the sadness in his eyes. The show was pretty much built around him and when he left it just wasn't the same and viewers felt it, if he stayed the show would have gone on well into the 90s. There was just a magic about RoS that has never really been captured on any other Robin Hood depiction.

Nie było nigdy lepszej wersji RobinHooda... Roczniki 77-85 na 100% potwierdzą. Na każdej klasowej zabawie w podstawówce biliśmy się kto ma być Robinem. I co wychodziło??? Chłopaków w klasie było 11 a na zabawy przychodziło 15 Robinów... Ten serial miał większe grono fanów niż teraz Taniec z Gwiazdami czy Moda na sukces...

A teraz apel do władz wszelakich gównianych polskich telewizji.. Która pierwsza puści znów Robina z Michaelem Preedem to zmienię dekoder :)))

Grew up watching this as a kid (in Sri Lanka, late 80s) and I absolutely LOVED this programme and still do. Brings back wonderful memories of the "sword" fights me and my friends had haha ....Wonderful background music...captures and invokes the emotions perfectly.

WOW.... my HEROES when I was a 10-11 year old kid. I was running around at home with an imaginary bog shoting all kinds of things.. ;-) I remember my mother asking out loud if it was time I'd see a doctor for all that robin hood stuff... Ah... always big fights when it was dinner time, and I NEEDED to see the next episode, and it was always at dinner time... I almost got disinherited at the age of 10!! Was tought to accept a new Robin with Jason (0-0-3,5 (haha)) Connery, but eventually we did.
