Nice video, and probably you could make another one with a retro twist, gymnasts like the great Dobre, Silivas, Camelia Voinea, Vanda Hadarean, and of course the mighty Bulgarian gymnasts who despite a spirited performance (just check their floor routines) in Seoul 88, were robbed of the bronze medal. Oh, I'm leaving out one of the greatest dancers: Isabelle Severino, check her floor exercises and please don't miss her... lol... Thanx.

i think that this is great dancing but i also think that the sport is GYMNASTICS not dance. so if all there gonna do is dancde i dont think they should be in gym. i think doing some ballet dancing and stuff is ok for a little while but they also need to do flips and GYM routings.

Wow, that is really great editing! As a ballet dancer I can see where some influence from the ballet world comes in, but these floor routines are definitely a totally different genre of dance! It is amazing to see what the human body is capable of with the right mind set and training. Thanks for your hard work and editing-- this was really fun to watch! :D

I disagree with the description... its not fading. there are more and more women gymnasts at my club every year.

There might be more women gymnasts at your club, but artistry and dance in elite gymnastics has been in a decline since 2001. Especially with the new code since 2006.

Floor is becoming a few arm flickers between tumbling passes, because thats all that they have time for.

Hopefully with 2 less skills needed to be counted in the 2009-2012 Code of Points, artistry will slowly be coming back.

ugh I hate how guys can do gymnastics too. It makes me so sick because guys can do any sport but there are sports that girls aren't aloud in. It sucks and girls if we were aloud to compete in men's gymnastics would dominate.

no I mean guys have football as their sport I mean how many women do you see in the NFL it and we don't have cheerleading because I have seen guy cheerleaders at the NFL so we're actually not allowed to do any sport we want to because there may be powderpuff football but you never see that on television.

@amerz90 I still don't get where you are getting at. But that's the NFL. Women have their own league that is also shown on TV. I think more men should do gymnastics. It's just as awsome when the men do it. I do gymnastics as well, and in the gym the only men who do Gymnastics are the teachers, all the students are women. Most men view gymnastics stupid.
