Your comment reflects a profound observation of 'power' and 'knowledge' in respect to global leadership. Generally speaking, I'd contend our popularly recognized leaders don't evidence 'wisdom' because their positions preclude them from telling the truth . . . as did Benazir Bhutto.
The truly courageous leader however, must sometimes confront and ultimately prevail over the fear of even one's own mortality.
Our leaders only sound wise when NOT empowered!
