@bluesky43556 ACtually the Taliban use heavy munitions. SA-7, stingers, 60mm mortars, recoiless rifles, rpg-7, and grenade launchers are all apart of the taliban arsenal. In the opening days of the war they actually had a small airforce and had tanks aswell. The opening days we also overthrough the Taliban with minimal losses, we have defeated the Taliban for the most pat. A war between Blacks and whites? You sound like Manson, don't be stupid.

@Janusha Actually the mk 82 500 lbs bomb (A very common bomb to be found on aircraft) costs about $250 per unit (not including shipping). Actually our military is the most advanced military in the world. Although I do not agree that we are in Afghanistan for oil (seeing as how there is no oil in Afghanistan) it is a very valuable resource. I would also not say Iraq is a failure, they have a new democratic Gov't, it may not be perfect but it is an improvement.

Haha they are democratic as long as they are paid to be. Like Pakistan is "against" Taliban because USA gave them a package deal including some billions and some pretty harsh threaths. I dont need to be schooled on the details. I know most of it. Its just that.. you say USA has the most advanced military. Sure... Youre about the only ones doing that anymore. Its kinda going out of fashion. There are no invading armys out there. The US-military behemoth serves very little purpose anymore.

If we "lost" 14 trillion dollars in the financial crisis we would have no money. Which, seeing as how we rank within the top ten richest countries in the world (according to the CIA, World Bank and International Monetary Fund) I doubt that is true. You can't pay a country to be Democratic, they are Democratic because the people elect the leaders.

Well they like to make highly advanced equipment and sell it to our enemies (like Iraq and Ethiopia) Afghanistan had mostly 1980's Soviet equipment. Do you also remember Georgia and how it was invaded by Russia? Well that was very close to the US attacking or getting attacked. Countries like Norway rely on the US and other allies to protect them.
