This use to rock this spot in LA called the Carolina West out near the airport. The females in this spot were jamming so hard, they started to taking off their shoes.
WTF? "She likes girls and what do they do?" (0:58) Izzat about what I think it is? That would be a sticky situation. Damn, and this was the early 1980's!
Used to love this song and still do! I used to rollerskate to this. Music is not the same. They actually told stories. All about sex now that's why i still and will listen to old school!
I built a pair of speakers called the rodlos, and named them after my brother in law and myself. We then went on to do partys for $15.00 an hour and boy we rocked this along with llollipop love the time etc.
@jasclees Yeah, I remember hearing this at the roller skating rink the few times I went skating as a kid. Everybody used to yell out "Heyyyyyy dat's my jam!" along with Double Dutch Bus, when they played dat 1 too. LOL
Great Southern Roller/Ice Rink Bridgeville PA, Roll R Skate Canonsburg PA, Spinning Wheels Castle Shannon PA.....Shout out 2 all the rinks in the Pittsburgh area back in the DAY!!!
Great record! Mixed in '82. But Ty's biggest record- The Smurf - was pulled from distribution in a settlement with the Smurf company in Belgium. They sued (Ty's was the biggest of two or three Smurf dance records at the time) and won the decision. This was interesting because Ty asked CBS and was given permission by the label to title the record "The Smurf" before it was released! So he lost all future benefits from his biggest record behind bad advice (or lack of support) from his own label!!
alot of people don't remember this song.this was his second jam.i used to jam out to fresh beat back in the day.i wanna break out my fuzzy adidas with the fat laces and my starched lee jeans.1

I guess this song is about a guy whose girl likes girls, and he's in debt because of his cocaine (or as they used to call it back then, sherm) habit.

Seems like I remember this one from the summer of 1982. It was very modern at that time.

Not sure where NickFresh is but i'll jump in on this one.
This is from same artist that brought us the massive instrumental hit "The Smurf".
Tyrone Brunson "Sticky Situation" in 1982.
