  • To the people hating facebook and its creator. OK, your opinion. BUT! What have you done in this life? Did you make something to gain billions while still on college and something to make you famous and maybe inspire a lot of others to do the same? Then shut the fuck up and listen to this until you become something better.

  • Why didn't they put this music to the film at some point? It fits the whole thing at some points, after he first launched fb.

  • I'm a beginning programmer, if there is someone who also just started learning code.. Please let me know we could work together.

    Thanks.

  • Did I just watch a commercial before watching a commercial?

  • I you were the inventors of facebook, you would have invented facebook.

  • Perfect song choice.

  • @Mahon232 It's "California Uber Alles"

  • what is the song when the guy got into facebook and that cool song started playing

  • I LOVE THE SONG BUT THEN WAS SO DAMN GUTTED WHEN I FOUND OUT IT WAS KANYE WEST! :(

  • @TheOneWithTheHair1 lol same

  • Yh Yh Yh drugs

  • Kanye's good for some things. Radiohead was better for this.

  • @ninjaotter222 I like both. Thought they were both pretty fitting songs for this movie. =]

  • This movie sucked.

    Fuck Zuckerberg for stealing ideas.

  • @RiseOfTheNerd he didnt steal an idea. he made the idea happen, if the two twins really wanted to make facebook they would of made it? and the movie was great!

  • @TehSamster Won't get into an argument over this, since both of us cannot change eachothers opinion on it. Fuckerberg steals an idea, shits allover their friendship.

  • suits the saints row 3 trailer even better

  • suits the saints row 3 trailer even better

  • Love this trailer, it goes so hard but my mind is superior. I am one of the few people capable of understanding this movies holy message. I am God.

  • "lets take whats annoying about myspace and get rid of it!"

    billions later

  • Fabulous Movie!

  • "Your best friend is sueing you for 600 million dollars?"

"I didn't know that. Tell me more."

  • Meet Asian women lushfmlk.info

  • can;t believe this movie got an oscar

  • Power is a song for movies

  • Great movie.... Now do one about bill gates

  • i think this song fits the social network trailer better than the limitless trailer...

  • type in "syllables response" the kid is killing it

  • i love this movie!! its the shizzz

  • WHY DID THIS WIN BEST SCORE? IT WAS JUST A FEW PIANO NOTES OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

  • @pie65576 it won best score because of how 'in tone' and parallel it kept with the emotions and feelings conveyed in the movie. I thought the win was very well deserved for Reznor and Ross. It was the BEST score, not the most ENTERTAINING.

  • D0N 0F THE DEAD SENT ME

  • this movie has some hot guys!!

  • Love this song for this movie, it fits perfectly. Can't wait to see Andrew and Jesse and all of them tmrw @ the oscars !!!!!!!!!!

  • is this based on a true story ?? :O

  • "I didn't know that tell me more." oh Jesse!

  • thats kinda badass.

  • The Microsoft thing meant that he had this software that could recognize your favorite music I think it was called snaypse but Microsoft wanted to buy for a million but instead mark went to harvard

  • @vleon1012 Then you weren't paying attention.

  • Brings a whole new meaning to "no one man should have all that power"

  • BEST PICTURE of 2010.

  • If this movie was about Myspace I bet it wouldn't be nominated for any Oscars.

  • @pistonfan33 Well, since the website in particular isn't the core of what this movie is about, I'd say yes, it would.

  • @pistonfan33 And if "Titanic" had been about a ranch-style house in the suburbs instead of an oceanliner no one would have gone to see it.

If it had been about Myspace it would have been a different story and a different movie.

  • best movie of last year.

  • This movie is Soo good...it's addicting.

  • and then the social network got nominated for best picture at the oscars. the fighter should win but idk why people said this movie would suck

  • Garfield got fucking robbed

  • "I didn't know that tell me more" lmaoo

  • david he means that microsoft offered to buy facebook from him but he said no because he wasnt in it for the money he was in it so he would be remembered and it was something "cool"

  • I love this trailer. such a better feel for the movie.

  • 38 people should watch this or they hate Kanye West.

  • And so many people said this movie would suck...people are stupid.

  • @yesrelation because the only thing people knew was that it was a film about facebook. that idea still sounds stupid now! people lowered their expectations because they assumed it was going to be bad anyway so then something good got seen as great. personally i think it is fucking awesome and i love it however many people have been gobsmacked by something that they didn't even think was going to be good.

  • What does it mean by he said no to Microsoft

  • @TheDavid1745

thy offered him a job to work with them,he declined

  • Yeah Kanye have sound :D

  • "no one man should have all that power" WORD. epic song epic movie.

  • I seen the movie and it was great, but I watch the trailer now and again just because of the song. "Power" goes so well with it

  • Amazing plot, music, and characters

  • my friend looks EXACTLY like the actore that plays eduardo saverin on this ! great movie love watching it

  • This movie was nothing short of fantastic. The acting, the direction, the script. All were just terrific. While "Black Swan", for me, is the best movie of this year, I wouldn't be mad if "The Social Network" got an Oscar for Best Picture because in all honesty, both movies deserve it. "Inception" and "Toy Story 3" were great too but let's face it, TSN and BS deserve the Oscar more.

  • why is it that we perceive people who talk fast to be smart? its just pretentious, like this entire movie

  • fuck facebook I doubt the facebook creator have been such a dark person and im sure he doesnt have any friends not even in his own facebook page come on is just a stupid idea to make a movie about facebook is not so complicated to make a page like that just the geeks love facebook just look at the creators face doest he look that dark or is just me I just say fuck facebook and have a nice day

  • The main character was in the movie zombieland. He's a good actor

  • @MrSteelefire No really?

  • idk whats more perfect, this movie, or the perfection of kanye's POWER in the promo. "no one man should have all that power" totally perfect with the themes of the film

  • IM CEO BICH!

  • They should make a movie about Apple since the Facebook movie was so successful awsome movie hope there is a movie about Steve Jobs etc.

  • @helloanygoodbye lol dude, they did its called "pirates of silicon valley"

  • your gonna hand them a card saying. IM CEO. BITCH

  • This movie rawked!, solid storyline and very good acting.

  • Sure, Everything will be going amazingly great, but a month from now this film will fail just like the real facebook :) I'm just saying :P

Overall one of the best movies of the year.

  • looks sick gotta watch thiss

  • Oh and I would say the young man that played Ed was far better then the man that played Mark but both were really good. Even Justin Timberlake was good

  • This movie was amazing. I was team Ed. Mark is an asshole, I dont know him in real life but from what hear this movie is very true to who he really is.

  • damn,. facebook®'s true story.. featuring Mark Zuckenberg (facebook founder).

  • love this trailer! the song SOO matches the movie

  • i was looking for this song the whole time, and it kept showing me the "creep" song which was creepy lol

  • "A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool?"

    "..You?"

    Lol

  • That guy looks like such a douch bag

  • I saw it yesterday and it was pretty good, they told the story. It was a little boring but overall the character that played mark was REALLY a good actor. His little witty comments kind of made the movie for me haha.

  • The most sexist movie I've ever seen. It takes today's sexual objectification of women and COMBINES IT with the outdated notion that women have nothing to contribute intellectually and are inferior to men professionally and academically. Rethink it. It's the worst of both worlds and by far the most negative representation of women out there.

  • I'll admit it bothered me that women weren't in the discussion intellectually but sexually. This unfortunately was somewhat the reality of the story. It made me think about Youtube and how women don't hardly make science, sports, politics, health or comedy videos but they dominate the Howto portion talking about hair and makeup. Women can make themselves look bad all on their own. I plan on being an anomaly...I think I can say the same for you :)

  • @MeredithOD Hardly. The women in the film were incidental to the plot because the movie was about Mark, Sean & co. The Sean character was sleazy; he objectified women, and the filmmakers didn't side with his ideals. The movie didn't condemn all women to the role of intellectual inferior; the plot called for objectification because that was how the characters were. (cont...)

  • @MeredithOD (...cont) Eduardo would shack up with the first ditzy woman that came crawling his way because, generally speaking, guys like Eduardo aren't prone to maintaining genuine relationships at that stage in their lives. Certainly Rashida Jones' character was level-headed and intelligent. The fact that the female characters didn't play a bigger role is due to the fact that this film is based on a real life story, and changing it for diversity's sake would have been fallacious. (cont...)

  • @SleepPersonParty Really? Did you know that in Accidental Billionaires (the book which coincides with the film and hinged on interviews with the real Eduardo,) the hook up session in the bathroom was regular sex, filled with gasps from the females enjoying pleasure? In the moie oral sex is implied as the girls sink to the bottom of the frame. 'member in the movie, Sean Parker discovered Facebook through a casual sexual conquest? According to a Vanity Fair interview, the real Parker discovered

  • @MeredithOD (...cont). The film isn't sexist in and of itself just because the characters might have been. And it certainly isn't the most sexist film ever made; there are entire genres dedicated to the objectification of women, and those films come by it honestly.

  • @SleepPersonParty (con't) through his roommate's girlfriend. And the seemingly strong and smart Erica? We're informed from the misogynistic antagonist's mouth that she's a BU student, while he a Harvard man. Zuckerberg's real life love interest during this stage of life was a fellow Harvard student, right along with him. And Facemash, the website which stacked girls up against each other to earn votes based on physical appearance? In real life included pics of men as well. You do the math.

  • @MeredithOD Certainly some changes were going to be made between the source material and the film most of which, at least the ones you mentioned, are essentially useless to the progress of the story. We could argue until we're blue in the face about why oral sex is less flattering to women than regular sex in a bathroom stall, but that was a ten second moment. As for Facemash, the decision to omit men was likely used to establish the unlikeability of the main character.

  • @MeredithOD

do you belong to the american lobby of feminist??

  • @SleepPersonParty (con't) All of this along with lines like, "If you guys are gonna talk business, we're gonna need some shots!!!!" (just in case we missed the point being made.) the inferiority of women is a recurring theme in this script. It's undeniable.

  • @MeredithOD Of course a sleazy character like Sean isn't going to associate with Mensa members; he's a dirtbag and dirtbags aim to bag airheads. The same way that most war films harbor anti-war messages, The Social Network doesn't want you to bump fists with these characters and draw from it a "fuck women" message. The male characters are painted in a pretty negative light as well. Just look at the ending of the film. He may be rich, but he's alone, endlessly refreshing a computer screen (cont..

  • @SleepPersonParty I know but to argue each point separately is useless. Because each instance on its own means nothing. It's all of them together that form a pattern. The question is not whether or not Sorkin and Fincher created a sexist film--that's irrefutable. The question is why. Maybe they wanted to aggitate women, asking if we're happy that our image has deteriorated and if there's anything we can do about it. Maybe they just wanted to sell tickets and figured no one would care too much.

  • @MeredithOD No, the question IS whether or not they created a sexist film. It ISN`T irrefutable. That`s why we`re arguing.

  • @MeredithOD The male characters are clearly portrayed in a negative light. Look at the bookending scenes with `level-headed` female characters. One drives Mark to create a misogynist website simply by breaking up with him. The other rejects him after the fame and the parties are long over. The women in the middle of all this are utilized to show us what Mark, Ed and Sean see. This new and exciting chapter in their lives is heightened by the fact that women are suddenly interested in them.

  • @MeredithOD (cont.), in order to verify if a girl had accepted his friend request. He isn`t a hero.

  • this made me want to post this to facebook(:

  • this movie was sooo freakin good.

  • Looks very special movie... like every movie by David Fincher

  • Just saw this movie today!

Another amazing Movie by David Fincher. Jesse Eisenberg did a really great performance.

  • this movie was realy good i saw it on saturday i recomend it

  • This movied sucked. I have more fun watching paint dry.

  • @gesiriech Are you going to say the same thing on every The Social Network trailer?

  • Wow, this really goes into concept, 21 century schizoid Man! (I was refer to Power! Sample by King Crimson)

  • does anyone know when this film comes out in Australia?

  • i hate seeing some of my favorite disney channel stars like brenda song like that i mean i know there actors but still

  • @14lulabell Disney Channel is the scum of the Earth along with all of their "G" Rated shows. I like it when Disney stars branch off from them, like Linsey Lohan, Hillary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Brenda Song, etc.

  • @XBlackRose023X Yes, the word "scum" and "G rated" really go hand in hand.

  • @14lulabell are you 7?

  • @msleslieee does it matter and no
