When MGO1 was released it was godsend. I was a big part of my MGS life man, playing as gaurds?!?! whole new dimension dude. I had the best time of my gaming life on MGO1 easily. Please bring it back or allow private servers! I dunno what it was that made it so good. 100000x better than MGO2

@PaulDavidScott Don't get too excited, as that guy has misled you a bit. MGO1 is NOT coming back with the HD collection. It's never been confirmed or even speculated on. Kojima would have to open servers back up and servers are expensive. You can play online for Peace Walker, 4 player co-op. Maybe the versus modes. There is a SLIGHT chance it could happen, but it has NEVER been confirmed.

@HUsolidier No, he did not... The copy that comes with HD collection IS Subsistence, but never has it been said that MGO is being brought back. Mgo was on disk 2 of Subsistence when it originally came out. Since it was closed they only sold disk 1, which is what you'll be getting. You're misinformed my friend, believe me I want MGO back as much as anyone but so far nothing has been said. If you know otherwise, please post the link to where it says MGO is coming back.

Yea. Metal gear online 2. Lol. It comes with Metal gear solid 4 on the same disk. Its very close to the original but it uses the MGS4 gameplay style. Its much more in depth and generally better besides the aiming being drastically changed. Weapons are also very inaccurate, so it's frustrating when you think you should've killed a guy 10 times over and you didn't.

It may just be the reticule, but gun accuracy in MGO2 is horrible. You can be right in front of someone, but if you're moving and even if your reticule is on their head or neck you can miss horribly.

Besides the skill system and lvling down just make the game alot less fun. Right now it's more like a chore trying to keep my 14 when everyone wants me kicked for my skills.

You think MGO2 glitchers are bad? You should have seen MGO1. LIterally anyone could glitch by simply pulling out their internet cord from the PS2. And the lag was 10 times worse than MGO2. You can literally shoot a guy in the face and watch his characters react to every shot, blood pooling on his face, and then die a second later. Later you'd realize that he killed you before you shot him, but because of lag it seemed like you shot first. Still a great game.

No, Konami unfortunately shut down the servers, which held not just the ability to play online but all the levels and basically the entire online component. So no more MGO1 is available.

In MGO1, the worst player of the round would become Sokolov. He has the ability to use stealth camo, and is somewhat of a treat for sucking so bad. Whoever is worst at the end of each round gets to be him. This also goes with whoever is the best, the leader of each team gets to play as either Raikov, Ocelot, or the Reiko girls.
