thanks for all the nice comments and suggestions, I direct this band but it was really the students that outdid themselves on this project.

During early 50's and late 40's a man named Leo fender introduced an idea for a musical instrument, the other guitar makers such as Gibson thought it was a joke, but the fender telecaster has been in almost constant production since then. The other companies then followed in what would turn up a revolution in musical genres and even a cultural revolution

another word for instrument could be, perhaps a tool? That being said, in the hands of an artist this tool or instrument can weave dreams and spark emotions that transcend notation and protocol. There will always be purists, I certainly understand the value of remembering the past- However, the very reason we remember the past is to learn from it. It was people trying out new things that gave us the instruments we use today, music though, does not exist but in the air that it travels

Interesting, but a giant step backwards. The musicians would have A LOT MORE control over their instruments if they played the real thing. However, it is great for writing music while sitting on an airplane. Anyone know where can I download the drum set?
