Att uppgradera vapensystemen, radarn etc är minsta möjliga. Den skulle annars inte hänga med överhuvudtaget och bli ointressant. Givetvis är det pengarna som sätter gränsen, inte kompetensen. Med torsionsvingar skulle kurvhastigheten öka (mindre motsånd) etc. JAS 39 Gripen lär inte få många fler uppdateringar ...
I read on Gripens official homepage that this was a test plane, a plane that would be tested alot and to be used as a base for the new swedish 5th Generation aircraft project that is about to start, or may have already started.
The new model will probably be called Super-JAS by the people :). Real name is unknown.
