what with playstation move having highly superior tracking (depending on the game) the wii has lost its unique spin... so it really needs some good games to save itself
I find it odd how a lot of 360 or PS3 fanboys are flocking to a video about a WII EXCLUSIVE. Yes, we know the Wii doesn't use HD, but you have to admit, Red Steel 2 looks like it's squeezing the Wii's full potential out. Honestly, these are the AMAZING graphics for a wii game. Not the best, but very close. Games can be fun even if they aren't in HD in case you didn't know. We've lived that way with games and they were still amazing, and still are.
If you show me this trailer , and ask me "Hey what console do u think this game is gonna be for" I would say "PS3 or Xbox 360" really , Wii is making his jump into high graphic power games.

Nintendo will do an HD Console Next gen, the reason they didn't make an HD Console this generation is because the world wasn't populated with HDTV's yet at the time and everyone never owned an HD TV.

No one is forcing you to do this. Nintendo has some classic games and they make fun. But you're right in terms of Power. I would like to have some really nice graphics too. But if they would do it would be more expensive and than may be some people can't afford this. And it's not very innovativ to put as much Power into a console as possible and i don't think it's too difficult. I thinkt hey just want great Ideas.
Looks like they're starting to show what the Wii can really do! Read some where and some people have said it has the graphic capability of 4 Xboxes!!! But that Nintendo doesn't supply the tools to really bringing out the graphics like Microsoft and Sony does. natal is a camera that means it can be inacurate at times. more inacurate than a controller. and all my money says they j=use it for family friendly crap and 1 or 2raceing and fighting games.
That's a little over the resolution of SDTV. Youtube's HD is 540p compared to TV's 480p. True HD is so much larger than Youtube's HD, a little more than 4 times the screen (pixel amount). And plus.this video the same quality as the game. Its not like if I play my wii on my 1080p TV, the is game not 1080p, its still 480p just blown up to 40+ inches.
I completely agree with ItsTheToman. Just look at the Wii, its got the most shovelware out of all the consoles. But it still got some of the funnest games. PS3 may be in second on shovelware... but like he said. You don't have to buy it, just buy the good games. There are plenty for the PS3 and Wii. And they are both great consoles =)

Looks like they're starting to show what the Wii can really do! Read some where and some people have said it has the graphic capability of 4 Xboxes!!! But that Nintendo doesn't supply the tools to really bringing out the graphics like Microsoft and Sony does. If that's true Nintendo needs to do that too and the developers can really focus on making a great game!

Do you actually think these are proper real-time graphics? For once, they are cell-shaded, which seems to be the best option for Wii games, since nothing about the 480p resolution mark can be surpassed with the Wii's capability. Trust me, the Wii is just a modified Gamecube with Motion-sensitivity. How many people recognise the Wii for it's graphics? Nobody, they recognise it for the Motion-sensitivity.

Wii aint that bad. Its a gaming console. Who cares about graphics. Fuck dude, alot of ps3 and 360 titals dont have the greatest graphics, look at Prototype, graphics blow, boring graphics. Then look at Metroid Prime 3. That game is awesome. Im not a Nintendo fanboy but its annoying to read about how you are telling someone they don't know something when your acting like you do, when I see that you don't. You have to try and convince everyone to think like you. And when they don't, u get pissed

I own a 360 not a wii but the wii is great and if you really think programers and design artists are going to be able to make games for Project Natal think again plus were do think they got the idea for natal so without out the wii your fucking explination is retarded

natal is a camera that means it can be inacurate at times. more inacurate than a controller. and all my money says they j=use it for family friendly crap and 1 or 2raceing and fighting games.

That's a little over the resolution of SDTV. Youtube's HD is 540p compared to TV's 480p. True HD is so much larger than Youtube's HD, a little more than 4 times the screen (pixel amount). And plus.this video the same quality as the game. Its not like if I play my wii on my 1080p TV, the is game not 1080p, its still 480p just blown up to 40+ inches.

I completely agree with ItsTheToman. Just look at the Wii, its got the most shovelware out of all the consoles. But it still got some of the funnest games. PS3 may be in second on shovelware... but like he said. You don't have to buy it, just buy the good games. There are plenty for the PS3 and Wii. And they are both great consoles =)

no i like COD4 as it has a nice choice of weapons, great sniping (love it) and a great online play as well as single player fun

and Halo is a game that took a great idea (fps's) and gave them limited weapons, paper thin charicters, a realllllly weak charicter (and then said its ok cause he can heal) and terrible single player missions
