@salmeron7 If the bars are higher than the stock bars then, yes. You will need to cut the wires and splice longer wires. It is actually very easy. Just cut the wires somewhere that you can splice them and hide the splices if possible. The best thing is to match the wire color with the spliced in wires. It helps avoid confusion. Just try to use solder and heat shrink to give you good connections and make it clean.

The suppliers tell me that neither AVON on METZELER dont produce the same tyres with the standard VLS 100/90 -19" Front, 170/80-15" Rear syzes, they ask me if 100/90-19 and a 150/90-15 will fit my VLX. @IRSFRAUDEXPOSED No I cut those off. I actually used the side mount were you would snap the plastic to. I removed the rubber gromets and then welded a little plate on either side for strenght and drilled it out to the tail light hole size

Thanks for the comment...The only thing that I bought was.. tires and handlebars and a couple odd and ends. As far paint I used Duplicolor..Laquer paint sucks ass, I do not recomend it.

I used the original chrome that came stock.

I spent about 800$ estimated from stock to this.
