I like Brad and Joe. But clearly neither one played all the of solos as heard on earlier Aerosmith records.These cats simply do not possess the guitar mastery to pull off solos as heard on adam's apple, train kept a rolling and last child for example. Simply listen to some live, unedited performances. It then becomes fairly obvious.Technicalities aside, the band is still entertaining. And yes. At close to 60, Joe still has really cool hair.

Tyler's rough on the CDs from 30 years ago, he's rough on the CDs from 20 years ago, he was rough when I saw him live on the "Get A Grip" tour and I really doubt he wasn't rough on the last tour. Singers' voices don't improve, they deteriorate.

And none of this is even ripping on the guy. I LIKE Steven Tyler. But he's no great singer.
