What you said IS sexist, especially when you typed, "Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women." If a woman attacked a man, that man has the right to defend himself. Just because women are weaker, it does NOT give them special treatment. If a skinny, weak guy hit a big, strong guy, would the smaller guy be allowed to get away with it?
