Teachers are role models.  Today both parents work, and the role model shifts to the teachers. If a teacher is married with kids...he/she can be a good role model. So to clarify, I think getting married and raising children is a positive thing for life, and it would be good for kids to aspire to without being told.

I am a certified domestic and sexual violence response professional, I work with adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and work with children in schools, providing AGE APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM to prevent sexual assault. It is possible to educate children regarding same gender relationships with no mention of SEX. You don't have to describe the mechanics of it to make them aware that 2 people of the same gender can be together.
