What would you say are the pros and cons of playing a Berserker?

@samile123 Pros: Good damage with criticals, block and heavy armor. Cons: Slowest attacks, easy to miss in pvp, not 100% blocking damage, depend on gear.

@rendermax thanks for the reply. Just what I suspected really. I really wanna try one but i'm worried they will be nerfed in pvp compared to other classes. Their pve soloing ability looks strong tho.

What other benefits are there? I mean, you take longer to solo it than with a group. Are the rewards good? More exp if you're solo? Is it worth solo'ing them or is it better/quicker to just do them grouped most of the time?

Also, how are the berserkers in pvp? I'm very tempted to roll one at the EU launch. Any info would be great. From what i've seen they miss 80% of their attacks and get kited around until they die ^_^

@porcu12345 Its just a challenge, killing this mobs in party is pretty easy. I didnt test a berserker at high end, and i think is the only way to test pvp, at high end.

@LuisEdGm I don't think the Berserker class has dodgerolls, but I know they're present in the Slayer and probably the Warrior.

@LuisEdGm Depend on the class, and for this lvl you dont have much more skills... block on berserker is not as good as lancer, warrior and slayer can evade, mages can blink, etc... just look some website with all skill list, there are lot of skills later on and you can enhance with the glyph system and gear gems.

@Dayfoxx7000 Do not hope, they are using the FPS Style. It is very fun imo, and this is what makes it different from other MMO's (Besides Vindictus, which is still different). Its not your basic Target, auto attack, press 1 2 3 spell system like A SHIT LOAD of MMO's, but you have to really aim and focus on your spells...

@Dayfoxx7000 so u want a boring hot key play style ? with no targeting system the game actually requires u to have skill not just press 1 2 3 ... and the 12 skills u see are not so easy to handle while in the same time u have to aim dodge and block ... not to mention u have a lot more coming at high lvl

pvp is good , but PvE will fail just because you can bock a monster´s attack forever and ever. disapointing

@MrVandersexy no you are wrong there u can block it of course but monsters have also instant attacks so u have to react very fast and if u continue blocking the monster will run around u and attack from another direction so the monsters learn

Oh, wow. Another generic MMORPG. When they advertised it as a "true action MMO" I would have thought it had some degree of skill and real time combat, not just what all the other MMOs do which is pretty much just a card game, sit back and watch your guy fight.

@scaramouchew okay why is everyone comparing this to games like aion(all these mmos are all the same. This game is completely different. It combines the customization of a classic mmorpg with the feel of diablo(you actually aim at monsters and swing your sword or use a skill with action bar). In all other mmos you just lock on a mob and hit 1,2,3 letting your avatar do everything.(boring) This will blow wow away. Just watch some of the other videos.

Did you use 3 of those mana regenerating gems on hit/block? I used 1 in EU beta, didn't know they stack. Makes blocking a little less critical in terms of mana use :)

Are zerkers realy the hardest class? Seems like block stops all damage and it looks simpler to use then dodge skills.

@Isumaru1 They're by far the slowest class in the game. Much slower than Lancers, and block only blocks up to the block threshold on your weapon. Better gear, more damage you block. You can also only block frontal damage.
