@crabfight I like the way Foxtrot Leader goes through the proper chain of command, asking for permission to execute 508 right IN FRONT OF THE GUY! And the way 508 just sits there waiting to get shot in the head like he doesn't have a rifle in his own hands.

You know, things like this is WHY expansions and DLCs and such sometimes make for some of the best games, especially ones where you play as the bad guy or at least through the filter of someone else's perspective.

I'm pretty sure with the way it looks, Fettel lost control of the replicas after he died in the first. Since the Vivendi timeline does not count, Fettel never regained the control of the new variant, and with Alma on the loose, she was described to awaken every replica "within 10 square miles", meaning she would have had some conrol of them. Foxtrot 813 seems to have been the only one "conscious" to see Fettel, and now that he has "opposed" Alma, he is being hunted by his own squad for killing

@XionicXDemon them. In the end, Fettel possesses the body of Foxtrot 813, but I still have two questions in mind: 1.) Why was it that Alma tried to stop 813 from freeing Fettel? It seems as if Alma did not want her son to return, and that would have ment Fettel was up to something. Might it have been something about the "3rd Prototype"? 2.) Will this timeline still be accurate wih F.E.A.R. 3? We don't hear much about the replicas from the reviews, and is Fettel still using his body or not?

Not true, at this point in time Fettel is dead and has yet to contact Foxtrot 813, it's never said WHO the commander is at this point in time, possibly an A.I.

@Liberykiller Technically speaking it's Alma. She activated replicas again, though she doesn't personally command them: she has only given them an objective, which they attempt to carry out as they've been trained to. Replica command is another part command structure what is probably been trained to coordinate and plan military operations. In the first game replica's also worked like this, and they didn't have psychic-link between each other as they used radios frequencies to communicate.

@2000plato I can clear this whole replica thing for you. You remember that the replica's deactivated in F.E.A.R right? And in Extraction Point they came back online by fettel right? they were not reactivated by fettel cause he dead, in f.e.a.r 2 snake fist said that alma "woke up" every replica for 10 sq miles. Alma controls them now not fettel, it confusing I know buts its true. Though I don't know they can think for themselves.
