Those LTBs just don't hook on a heavy rig. Not sure why, but they just don't.
And to you stupids that think "airing down" is a big secrect that everyone is missing: you have to run enough air to keep your sidewalls from folding over when sidehilling, and to keep the tires from wrapping up and bouncing while you are climbing.
the tire looks like it has too much air in them but people dont think that the tire is in the air with no weight on them and dont watch them when they do have weight on them
Dumb question.....I'm sure a rig of this level has the front end welded/locked/spooled so why does there seem to be some slight variation in rotaton between the front tires???
monster trucks run 4psi in those big ass tires and still have tons of support... the bigger 40+'" tires dont wrinkle at the wall like smaller tires do. They have to hold shape or else the tire will fold over and be torn along the sidewall.
man....i notice alot of the videos on here the reason the people arent doing that well of getting over there obstacle is cause they got too much damn air pressure in there tires....air down boys, and invest in some bead lockers. it does wonders....this guys got bead lockers...and he still has tons of pressure in the tires.
Because they are bias ply meaning thick and stiff sidewall. 5 pounds may not be enough to get the sidewall to flex all that much, especially if these are somewhat new tires and haven't really broken in.

Is it me, or have the tires lost a lil grip? Also, more tire pressure.. Your reading may have been wrong..

Some axle-shafts can twist a lot. I've seen aftermarket chromoly axles twist more than 90 degrees.

@patriotsundergod but it also depends on your axle houseing and knuckles

Thats funny, that is my jeep and it only has around 5lbs of air in the tires.
MadRam11 2 years ago 16
seriously....why they not hugging around rocks like they should then?
collinscustoms 2 years ago

MadRamm obviously knows his equipment, I doubt tire pressure is a new concept for him!
Those are some big rocks, thus the hard climb...nice rig.
