If you look close the rear wheels lock up first.. only way I can think of that happening is if they pulled the E brake, maybe fooling around, or maybe the brakes are not so good on his car, and used the E brake to try and help. The rears locking up is what sent him around like that.
I like how the "I'm a nurse" female suspects a spinal injury and immediately tells her to take the helmet off. (which you do not do if you suspect spinal injury)

The police officer that responded told me at the hospital that my husband was calm and relaxed, if it were him (the cop) he would have been screaming his head off. People handle pain differently, and shock plays a big part in the tolerance of pain.
Similar accident happened to me about a month ago Jacksonville, FLA, I know what you mean by it hurts to lay down. I bet your left leg is tangled REAL bad. My incident was a Right lane driver almost stopped(lost apparently) who decided to turn left as I was riding straight past @ 55mph. I saw this same thing happen on the interstate. I started hearing a squeeling sound, and the car in front of me, in the left most-lane of a 3-lane interstate, skiddid, doing a 180 going backwards down the intestate. The car then skidded in front of an 18-wheeler truck in the middle lane, and then through the right-most lane and then over onto the shoulder where the car stopped, facing the wrong direction. It was a car full of teenage girls, was really happy to see they didn't get killed.

For those of you saying she could have 'easily' avoided the car by swerving to the left, there's just no way. She couldn't have anticipated that he was going to pull an actual U-turn right in front of her, and by the time it started she was already very close. She wouldn't have had time to get all the way over to the left, and there's no gaurantee that the car would keep coming to the right anyway-- in most cases when a car starts to come out of its lane they'll try to correct and go back.

For those of you saying she could have 'easily' avoided the car by swerving to the left, there's just no way. She couldn't have anticipated that he was going to pull an actual U-turn right in front of her, and by the time it started she was already very close. She wouldn't have had time to get all the way over to the left, and there's no gaurantee that the car would keep coming to the right anyway-- in most cases when a car starts to come out of its lane they'll try to correct and go back.

Most “not all” bikers ride like they own the road. My favorite is when your sitting at a red light when suddenly a biker pulls around you into the crosswalk with that “me first” mentality. It all use to bug me until I saw this video. Now when I see a bloody body stain running across the freeway, It puts an instant smile across my face then I say to myself “Wipeout Ha Ha“. And yeah, I’m the one who moves over to block lane splitters And hopefully do more than just block. Riders beware.
