By the way! Drano and products of the like are acid based (muriatic). The will burn your skin and burn holes in your clothes and if you plunger the drain and you spurt that shit in your eye, you're fucked! @dapoopta.

you never plunge drano. the plunging ruins the whole entire reaction.

in short form when you react Dranol (Sodium Hydroxide) with a boiling hot water hydrogen is produces and this buildup of hydrogen unclogs the drain its not the NaOH that does it its the reaction forming hydrogen. Plunging ruins this.

I have the same problem. Water from the drain pipe from the kitchen sink coming up from the bath drain. I did try Drano, no go. Tried Muriatic Acid, no go.

I am a plumber and i can tell you Drano is a scam and if you use it we plumbers thank you because you will be calling us when it doesnt work

@bstack1986 your not to smart. you thank people for using drano because people call you when it doesnt work? your a plumber for a reason. people will call a plumer even if they dont get drano when pipes/sinks are clogged the woulds still clogged your just stupid

For people like me looking for videos on how to unclog a drain!!!

I've just wasted most of this afternoon trying different method to unclog my shower. I tried plunging the shit out of the thing and got nothing. Once i removed the vent cover and stuffed a washcloth in it, I gave it a few plunges and cleared it right out. I can actually see all the water coming out the vent as you plunge; that why there's no affect on the drain.
