well, there was only one person who voted against the president being able to declare war back in september of 2001 and it wasnt ron paul... thats the only flaw that ive seen in his voting record.

Well, I sort of agree with you but i believe Ron Paul was justified in this vote. He wanted to get Osama Bin Laden for committing the crime of 911, and that obey's the "Christian Just Theory of War".

He has not supported that war since it became about nation building and not about capturing Bin Laden.

He would pull troops out immediately if he were president.

He stated before we went into Iraq that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. We knew osama and al quieda were behind the 9/11 attacks, he has stated that he wanted to go after osama in Afghanistan before he got away. From what you just quoted, it states that Congress gave the president the authority to use military force against the people who attacked us on 9/11. So Ron Paul gave the authority to attack, capture INDIVIDUALS involved with 9/11. What is so wrong about that? Look the only thing that got me riled up was the fact that you put the blame on Ron Paul. His original intent was to get the people involved with 9/11. However, this Bush administration went and broke this resolution and did whatever they wanted through some loop-hole that doesn't exist. The whole system is broken right now and you are blaming the only person that fully obeys the original intent of the Constitution. Even the Constitution has loop-holes.
