I think it goes 2, 1, and then 3. I hated number 3. They should've made a third one when he was still young and hot. Not when he's an old man and regrets what he's done, but I guess that's the point of the film.

finish? ok part 3 is terrible! They killed the pope!? what? the acting is average to sub-average. a cousin love affair? while could of been good it wasn't. By itself it's ok, but because it is part of the godfather trilogy it's should be much better. it was a pure cash grab made 2 decades after the first 2.
