Try EPSON printers, they're not bad. I got one and it wasn't difficult to install, did it all by my self. And don't worry, the company includes USB cables also and you won't get random paper jams. :D

All I do is:

1. Plug the printer in

2. xp comes up saying found new hardware

3. go into the new hardware crap

4. insert driver disk

5. drivers install automatically off the disk

No extra bullshit

I noticed that the paper that u had in ur hand. All u have to do is take that papper when it prints it and put it in the scanner and hit scan or ok w.e ur system has for it. Then everything should work right. Hope this helped lol.

Agreed. My sister and I share a HP all in one type deal, it doesn't fax though. It scans, copies, and prints. And it's wireless! So we thought it would be easy, we even had it installed for us by like Staples workers or some shit. It was working fine for like 2 months, sending what we scanned directly to the computers beautifully. Then all of a sudden, it won't go wirelessly. Luckily, I have an SD card and the thing has an SD slot so I have to do everything that way now. -_- WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

i completely agree with you. we have a kodak printer/scanner and its a big piece of shit. i cant get the damn thing to work on my dads mac and i gave up on installing all the drivers on my netbook. i just cant get it to work and when i do... my goddamn cat'll stick his paw into the paper feed and jam it... its like i get kicked in the nuts every time. and worst of all my moms laptop has 4 viruses on it so theres a good chance the printer has some digital STDs.... fml...

This is why you just buy a printer and not an all-in-one lol. A Hewlett-Packard Deskjet D1341 would probably work for you lol. I've been using one for over 2 years and I've only had one issue and that was needing the reinstall the drivers ONCE because of them accidentally being deleted.

Wow, either I am one of the luckiest people with printers or the more the companies try to improve thier printers the worse those printers get. I say that because I have never experienced or heard of the problems mentioned in the video the only problem I ever had with a printer is the ink had either run out or it dried into some kind solid mass and i had mine ever since I was a child and I printed lots of things.

Yeah my printer (i think its a Lexmark) said it was a WiFi printer, during installation it said "now connect the USB cable to the computer" THAT doesn't make it a WiFi printer!

Everytime the printer is switched off my Vista Laptop can find it via WiFi. When the printer is switched ON it can't find it.

I dunno if that's the Vista's problem or the printer's problem.

All its been doing for the last 6 months is "there was error connecting to the printer" check connections etc.

i have to absolutely agree with you mate, ive had a printer under my PC desk for 2 years now, and it didnt come with any USB cable, and as you say, its been both collecting dust and been a lovely foot rest for me, sure, buying a new USB is simple, but along with the inks, the other cables the space for it on my PC, the installation drivers on that flimsy crap CD they supply, and it becomes a tedious shit lump of technology
