you know what i really love about this movie, though? it doesn't pretend all human beings are all good; and life is rose colored. For example; batty was a victim of animal testing; and the forest is being chopped down the same way so many are today. though its a childrens movie, Ferngully teaches us about the balance of nature, and respect towards life.
