  • Love the Mellow Yellow reference!

  • "I wish I was a zonked rocker with flowers in my hair."

  • Peace? Love? What is this 'love' you speak of?

  • 595 people prefer hallucination to the nation as it is :)

  • Roy, where's that video in which you play the song about the crippled boy? You deleted it? :(

  • Happy Birthday Roy and I'm glad to be a Psychedelic Relic just like you! :)

  • this song is awesome haha so well composed!

  • I really like this one, not only is it very funny, but the musicianship (that's a word now!) is very good, I particularly like the vocal patterns, very complex!

  • 10 people had a real bad trip:-)

  • I died laughing with this one. Genius!

  • give us a "How and why to play" on this one soon.

  • I think he's talking about my parents!

  • Farm Out!

    Outastate!

    Right arm!

    Gravy, man!

  • "Eight Miles High", The Byrds. "Quite Rightly", Donovan.

  • 10 people can't tell what the hell he's talkin' about.

  • If you wear your ear hair in ponytails I would totally like to see that! The song is great! Best wishes from a psychedelic relic fan!

  • @MachiLikesRed @happytree1233

Apparently not, since the original lyrics are "yellow MATTER custard" ...

    LOL ;-)

  • @MachiLikesRed

No you don't. John Lennon wasn't all that sure himself.

  • I'm 18 and I got all of them

  • There is no moral problem in Peace and love but the question is: can you keep smiling while you know that there is a countries with totalitarian regime are building army's and promoting a single race domination ideology.

there was a time like this in US history, before WW2, when USA decided not to confront Nazi Germany and allowing Nazi sympathizers march the street.

Britain did that too, when it abandoned Poland to Nazi Germany.

  • @Mishkafofer yea, somebody needs to stop the US.

  • I'm 20 and by this definition I'm a psychedelic relic... but I'm so okay with that.

  • He forgot the "Goo goo g'joob" and, of course, the "I am the Walrus."

I, too, believe in peace and love.

  • "Yellow mother custard, semolina pilchard, sitting on a cornflakes, crabalocker fish." The walrus is Paul, duh.

  • I'm 21, and these references are brilliant.

  • @MachiLikesRed then your a physcadelic relic, what does it mean?

  • The Beatles!

  • @MachiLikesRed I figured that out once, but I forgot it by morning. Going for a PhD but have lots of blanks. Just don't go too psychedelic; keep your goals in mind (college, major, job, etc) and have fun. 15 was where I began a slide towards nearly missing out on these, but I got lucky and got straightened out a bit. I'm done lecturing :)

  • @MachiLikesRed... Or so they led you to believe

  • What fun. Then again, it seems I'm well on my way to becoming a "psychedelic relic", so... peace and love, and take a little garbage with you on your way out, brothers and sisters.

  • Great Song Roy!

Can someone tell me what is the original music? in tags there's reference to the beatles and jefferson airplane , but i'd love to get the actual name of the song.

  • far out man!

  • *air hug*

  • i vote for a how to video!!! :)

  • I still believe in peace and love! And I love this song.

  • love it lol

  • I think this is your best one yet...

A child of two psyychedelic relics. :-D

  • Musically this is my favorite Zimmerman tune by far. This melody just sticks with me.

  • This is my anthem.

  • im a psychedelic relic :D !!!

  • At least 1200 of the views on this vid are mine. My friends are grateful I'm not dead! haha, great line(s).

  • I'm glad it has many more views than that, but it deserves even more!

  • I really wish I could listen to this, the sound quality is so bad, the cracking hurts my ears. =(

  • Signing in here, Roy, as old hippies,_____ &____

  • A little trouble with the sound, but the ear hair was funny.

  • maybe your trouble hearing and the ear hair are related?

  • Is it just my computer, or is the video super high quality compared to the others from the Skeptics Society Conference?

I "dig" it, or whatever was said in the sixties.

  • nice one, roy!!!! i like the line about the "ear hair".... muhahahahaha

  • Now all we need is the Joni song, and we're SET! :D

  • Oh, I remember what the dormouse said.

  • NICE!!!

  • Pause at 3:03 and he totally looks like Dick Cheney! lol ;)

  • The stereo channels are bad on this one.

It judders and if off at times. Maybe mono this one.

  • Aritificial hippy, tooo funny

  • Priceless! This just about had me on the floor, Roy, because I AM one. LOL

  • Absolutely Brilliant! Beatles FTW!

  • I thought I had subscribed to his channel but apparently he released all these awesome videos and I didn't get any of them!

  • Thanks for the fun Roy.

  • Is he referencing a song with the line:

"If you prefer hallucination to the nation as it is" ?

    It sounds so damn familiar.

  • bravo!

  • right channel is out but great as usual

  • Great job, as usual!

  • Understood maybe 80% of the song. Thankfully my dad was around to explain the remaining 20%...after he'd finish laughing hysterically, of course.

  • Brilliant chord progression!

  • ROFL!!! That was hilarious!

  • Whooo! Old-school Roy!

  • Great song, Roy, as always.

The audio was a bit busted for me, so I had to check the lyrics at your site. I noticed that they're slightly different - do you modify your songs all the time, even after they're recorded on a CD?

    Thanks for sharing.

  • awesome, loved the song

  • Now this hurts, it really hurts. Why not pick on someone else for a change? We hippies got feelings, you know!

  • Since when?

  • Hippies don't have feelings, only water-powered cars.

  • Nah, you know that Mr. Zimmerman is kidding with you :P

  • "Artificial hippie".... LOL!

  • Very nice Beatles reference.

  • Roy always brings it! Thanks Roy!

  • Roy never disappoints.

  • Skeptics Society Conference? That's where these are from? Lucky bastard!

  • Added a ref on the White Rabbit (song) wikipedia page.

  • Always fun

  • Brilliant. Our generation's Tom Lehrer.

  • Yay! My all-time favorite RZ song! Dig it!

    Peace and happiness,

    ~C.A.~

  • Nice add to the 40th ann. of Woodstock.

  • Speaking as someone raised by hippies... *grin*

    I liked it. :)

  • omg genius

  • Once you get past the audio, this is great

  • Audio is messing up

  • True, the other stereochannel keeps cutting out.

  • Glad this isn't just me

  • Great!

  • audio doesn't seem quite right

  • I love this song from the Homeland CD, but the visual is even better!

  • You rock! Love your music!

  • Always great. And he would love yours if we could just get him to pay attention to you. Guess he doesn't know you're headed for 300 subs! Or maybe he doesn't like cats.

  • Sweet!

  • Excellent!! My favorite yet!

  • This was great, but I still have to go with "Summer of Loving V. Virginia". :)

  • Nice! Love the songs.
