  • LOl tads part was fucking awesome!

  • Chris Cornell too? I knew only for Alice and Pearl Jam.

  • The early 90's will always be better then the mid-late 90's and todays crappy generation. The fashion was simple, the music was good and tolerable, and people didnt say stupid shit like swag. The early 90's were the best.

  • Everytime i watch a good movie,i try to find it on youtube and google and post it on facebook,i do that especially on the old school movies because i want to bring the spirit back of good movies and music for my friends which seems imposible, anyway i reccomend this movie it is awesome it is good and it will give you a good lesson, check it out for sure don't be lazy !!

  • Kurt Cobain was so happy he and Nirvana had nothing to do with this movie.

  • Seatle sound

  • I miss the grunge era :(

  • This is a movie I used to love watching when I was in junior high, now seeing it as an adult, not so much. Which is funny because now I can relate to it better since I've been in the dating and work world.

  • are you kidding me? that was hey joe? ..wow...I didn't even recognize it that's my favorite hendrix song

  • That's right, Brodozer. It's hard to hear in this particular clip, but i'm sure you've seen the actual film - this movie always reminds the Yosh of his visit to King County... ahh, yes...

  • anyone know what jimi hendrix song cliff was playing when he was at jimi hendrix's grave??

  • i thing grunge is the best style way better than glam and fagy emo

  • @Machete180 - I'm in a glam/classic rock band, but Pearl Jam have been my favourite band since I was 10.

  • GRUNGE FUCKIN ROCKS

  • Was this Hollywood's "cash in" on the grunge scene, or am i way too naive? I

  • yeah these guys(pearl jam, alice in chains, all the bands that appeared in it) totally sold out to promote grunge, which is sad because all of these fantastic grunge bands were too good for this lame movie. atleast Nirvana didn't; probably would've ruined my opinion of them if they did

  • @Swtchbck009 were is the fun in being a musician if you cant have your songs in movies? wat are you going to do boycott pearljam? or are you going to stop buying their songs? do that then maybe your opinion will mater

  • no I just wouldn't think as highly of them b/c they were pretty much just cashing in on the grunge movement, like that other guy said.

  • @Swtchbck009 I don't think it was selling out because they didn't know Nirvana would blow up at the time. So it was more like the whole community was willing to be involved. The same thing is happening in here in Detroit because a lot of films are being made here now.

  • @MrWiiPS360 Nevermind was released September 24, 1991. Singles was released in September 18, 1992. They were probably making 'Singles' around 1991, during the time Nevermind was released, and Nirvana were becoming very succesful and popular. Kurt Cobain said in an interview once that, when he was asked to appear in the movie, he said no before even running it through the other guys.

  • Technically, yeah. The movie was released because grunge became so popular. But the movie was actually made before grunge exploded into the mainstream, and wasn't released until grunge became popular because it was felt there was no market for it at the time (early 91).

  • Matt Dillion cant be an Grunger!!

  • Good movie! ;)

  • Yeah, and Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament at 0:21
