I was about to change to Ubuntu but then it wouldnt start the install.. my guess is a driver.. but how do i get that into the installer??

try i386 install or if you are sure that you have to install amd64 distro use the alternate install cd.

Good sync of music & movements, but how you make zoom into the windows? how navigate to in and out of cube? and how move the cube to the left and right?, i try but no....  thnxs ;)

What you used to make this video? I`ve tried istanbul, but my machine lagged a lot (AMD1800+ 512RAM GF5700LE) when it begun capturing, and the video wasn`t with good quality ( software is using theora to encode ).

How about the 3d Games i`ve tried only Doom3.

Does wine emulated games work fine?

for a skydome like that just use google to find a similar picture then scale the image to 2048x1024 go to beryl settings "deskcube --> filenames --> skydome image"

Not very long at all. I can do it within a few minutes with pre-packaged bundles, and a little longer if I compile it myself.
