I am really enjoying these early Russian vids. Provides a nice insight into skaters we only saw much later in their careers here in America. This girl is lovely, did she find any further skating success?
I don't think she did. Ironically, Platov said in a recent interview that the reason why they broke up is because she had 'outgrew' him. Yet it was him that found success afterwards, first with Larisa Fedorinova and later with Oksana Grishuk.
