  • My 6.0 can spank that shit

  • man... your lucky :( my dad and i would have LOVED to have a excruision... i wonder why they stopped making it? oh btw, what kind of engine and how many mpg?

  • why 4WD?

  • When he stated the video he had a full tank. lol

  • i counted 12 seconds for him to get to 60... anyone else?

  • O ya, cool, sweet, my home away from home...ya...cool...whatever

  • You're pretty much an idiot

  • holy cow thats a low redline (im no too familiar with diesels much)

  • guy sounds creepy

  • 9 seconds not bad at all

  • Real trucks don't have spark plugs.

  • WHOOOO!!!!! left a cloud of black smoke in back of me ! :D ahahaha

  • How many secconds goes your Ford Excursion from 0-60 in 4WD?

  • 6.0 is faster =(

  • note to self dont be like this when im older....

  • Your stock turbo is only good to 25 psi boost pressure. Your going to kill it wiht 30 psi.

  • Is there a blow off valve? Or just turbo flutter? Nice truck btw. Subscribed and watching all of your videos. ;)

  • 10.28 sec slow :(

  • How the hell did u get a turbo and 4x4 in yours?????? Aftermarket stuf? Can I still get that? Mine has a gas V-10

  • damn... only reves up to 3,000?

  • it's diesel, want more speed, remove the limiter and give it a turbo, done

  • how can you even rev to 2grand and not be powerbraking. i cant rev to that in my jeep without wheels spinning like crazy.

  • 30 lbs of boost wow

  • Hows the tranny holding up?

  • built the trans yet? 2 and 3 ups seem to be taking a long time. Of course mine shifted like that once when someone put the wrong merc in it. They say "merc V only" for a reason and it is tricky to find. All of the crap-parts stores sell DEX/Merc in place of all the various iterations of Mercon, and they are different. NAPA and Ford are the only places I could find actual Mercon V. 150k on mine now and still a kick in the butt on every shift. Nice truck!

  • lol u seem like a happy dude.. good for u bro.

  • cool. gotta love it. cool. sweet.

  • Mmmm I love the sound of diesel power!

  • what a waste of time u ass fuck

  • Loveeeee the sound of those diesels at high RPMs

  • Hell it's about as big as a house... That 7.3 is hell of a motor..

  • how much hp your truck have? im from germany and we got no 7,3l turbo diesel^^

  • @DizzlerDazzler It puts down 286HP and 600 ft. lbs. torque at the rear wheels.

  • @DanielJaegerFilms great engine , i am from Austria , the biggest diesel you get here is the 4,2 V8 from Audi i think.... but what about the mpg ?? and the gas price in the US ?

For your information - no American vehicle has a lot of power, it's all about the boost at the right moment, the torque. 286HP is of course not a lot for 7.3L, but 600 ft. lb. is already very much. the small european cars just

  • @DizzlerDazzler have about 100 - 200 foot pounds of torque. Of course there cars like the Brabus SL 65 ///AMG that've got about 740 ft. - lbs., but that's an exception.

but if you wanted to, you could get about 800 horse outa this baby easily.

Nevertheless, I like that you're having interest for an American vehicle right there.

  • @DizzlerDazzler In America, Theres 4 Engine Types For The Ford Excurtion:

    5.4l V8, 255 H.P.

    6.8l V10, 310 H.P.

    7.3L Diesel V8, 250 H.P.

    6.0L Diesel V8, 325 H.P.

  • 7,190 lb (3,260 kg) just to settle that argument.

  • omg how dare you drive a car like this! you're ruining the environment! this is terrible! take the video down now before I report you for suck reckless use of a gas-guzzling vehicle!

oh ps: I'm kidding. Dig the car. Surpisingly fast for such a big car. All that torque has to help ;)

  • youre dumb dude shut the hell up!

  • 4wd doesnt do shit dude.

  • @CnRDirt it's so he doesn't spin out dummy

  • Haha, sounds like Dave from Dave's farm! "sweet" "kewl" :P

  • lmao 3000 rpm redline... this is so under engineered, it's ridiculous.

  • @coolerdude44

the 2001 cummins has 2000 rpm redline. your stupid, diesels or supposed to be low rpm

  • @junktoyota i know diesels are low rpm... 4,500 maybe 5,000, but the ford excursion is technically a lorry in my book. one of the worst cars in our nation's history.

  • @junktoyota exactly

  • @coolerdude44 Why don't you just stick with driving your japan crap

  • @dustinrolla lol ok, why don't you actually back up your statement. why is my car "crap" but this car is good? give me one reason why this car is better than my car, and don't just say because it's american cuz that isn't necessarily a good or bad thing.

  • @coolerdude44 It's extremely difficult to make power on any diesel motor at high rpm because the fuel burns slowly. Also diesels have a very long stroke. A gas with the same hp is ~ 8cm, the diesel Powerstroke is ~ 11cm. That means at 3k rpm the piston is moving at the same speed of the gaser at 4100rpm. Additionally diesel pistons are bigger and heavier and are built to withstand the much higher compression ratio and pressures. You can't throw that increased weight up and down very fast.

  • The mental image of this giant SUV leaping down the road as you were flooring it is making me crack up!

  • Hahahaha a school bus!! lmao

  • its a nice truck.... can i have it??

  • Sounds like a school bus. It drives like one too.

  • some school busses actully had the same motor as these trucks

  • What EGT's are you running with those modifications?

  • and my lawn mower smokes more than that thing when i start the fucker up....

  • @DS650POWER Dude, that's not a good thing. Your comment made me laugh so hard though

  • @DS650POWER hahahahaha thats great!

  • @DS650POWER Then it's probably got bad rings.

  • @DS650POWER yeah but, what can a lawn mower pull

  • @michaelpack1988 it was a joke cause the fag that posted this video thinks his 7.3 liter excrusion is the god of all

  • @DS650POWER It aint that bad,

  • @DS650POWER for a 10k pound truck its perty good.

  • @DS650POWER no smoke on a diesel is a good thing, retard

  • @cstmx156 hes obviously trying to get it to roll some coal but that little puff is just sad

  • @DS650POWER its not sad, its impressive. less smoke = more power

  • @cstmx156 lol no

  • @DS650POWER holy shit you dont know a damn thing about trucks. go play with your lawn mower and leave the big engines for older people

  • @cstmx156 a truck that blows no smoke is making less hp than one that smokes, because the one that smokes is burning 100% as much fuel as it can where the one that doesnt smoke could be getting underfueled. im not saying its a good thing to be blowing huge clouds of smoke though.

  • GREAT for a 10000lb truck!!!

we have one EXACTLY like yours only vith a v10

  • oh really, maybe not 10,000lbs, but close to it, friend of my had one and his weighed in around 8900lbs, our Chevrolet suburban 1500 lt, weighs in at 6883lbs dry, now not 10,00 but damn close. and it is very impressive that he got that big daddy up to 60 that quickly, so stop being an ass.

  • thanks, now that i come here and see that because of something i said he is calling me a dumb fuck...well i mean its not like i was 4000 lbs off!!!LOL

  • Comment removed

  • powerstroke lol

  • lmfao....i think he did this on purpose...he sounded toooo much like Dave from DavesFarm....lol....nice truck though

  • wow thats pretty fast! :D

  • thats faster than my 95 sable

  • That's mighty fast for a vehicle that must weigh in excess of 7000lbs. Fast diesels are still an anomaly in my mind though... I don't care much for the non-mechanical engines. I won't knock the 7.3 though. It is an excellent workhorse.

  • wow u just burned about 8 gallons of gas doing that

  • It's a diesel.

  • i don't think so. this car gets 19-20 mpg when driven normally

  • u act like dave

  • LOL gotta love it... no spinning

  • and a ford focus weighs 1/10th of this? smd fuckin city kid

  • oh and a ford focus will 0-60 same as this lmao

  • wheres the smoke??? i saw a little tiny puff?

  • davids farm copier

  • He even says, "Cool", "Gotta love it", and "Sweet" just like Dave, haha.

  • Thankfully Ford discontinued this gas/diesel guzzling behemoth

  • Why do you like black smoke coming out the back? Never understood that one.

  • dude it looks sick

  • dude ur a fucking faggit, nad ferrariboy94 u power brake it u fucking moron

  • thanks!

  • Hey how do u build the boost without putting it in neutral? thanks

  • You hold the brake pedal and press the gas pedal at the same time until the revs get to around 2k rpm, this puts the engine under a load and builds up turbo boost. Then you let go of the brake and floor it at the same time and away you go!

  • Wow. That is a good truck

  • nice smoke

  • Shouldn't have used 4WD on teh road, you could have bound the drivetrain that way. Not good for the transfer case.

  • I'd say that's HIGHLY unlikely.

  • I'd say it IS because we've DONE it when the transfer case linkage on our Jeep came off and we tried to drive home. I don't think you know what your talking about.

  • It was stuck in 4-Hi

  • How would driving off road with 4 wheel drive be acceptable, but on road it isn't? It just doesn't make logical sense. Sure, you shouldn't have it on when you're on pavement because of fuel economy, but it's in no way detrimental to the system. If anything, it's harder on the transfer case driving off road since there's much more abuse and not a smooth surface.

  • WRONG. You obviously don't understand how this works. In these kind of systems, there HAS to be slippage in order for it to not bind. If you are driving on pavement, the front and back wheels are mechanically locked together. They spin at different speeds, especially when turning. Try this experiment. Put your car in 4WD, go on pavement, and turn in circles, and it should chirp tires, jerk etc. Trust me, it is NOT good for it.

  • That's why he did it in a straight line. Obviously, I don't recommend 4wd when doing autocross.

  • I THINK it depends on the vehicle you're talking about. Cause some trucks and suvs have a differental setting systems, limited slip, and such. Well, if you engage it, and drive it on pavement, and turn, it may squeal the tires, and hurt the driveshaft, and axles. There would be no difference if you drive straight though.

Limited slip differental should only be used under slippery conditions, and that why it's recommended for off road use.

But, some vehicles have automatic systems, too.

  • i wish i had a truck like that... but the gas prices here in NC are outrageous.

  • Your gonna give a Powerstroke the gas?!?! lol, just kinding Daniel I know what ya meant.

  • What trim level you got?

  • Yeah, sweet dude. The engine light comes on before you turned it off.

  • hate to spoil it, but thats the light that shows the parking brake is engaged. No big though, i don't think the big '!' is neccessary to show it :)

  • I have the same truck and for 10,000 pounds that thing moves. And guess what it might be slower than a Chevy but it is much more reliable and thats a FACT

  • Comment removed

  • omg that thing is VERY slow and you dont even need 4wd because it wont even in 2wd omg get a real truck like a chevy

  • BULL SHIT in 4wd wit the chevy the half shaft snaps everytime my grandpas durashit is always breakin nd doesnt pull near as hard as my powerstroke

  • wow dude you could be the most dumb person EVER. and the 6.6 liter duramax has more hp and more important in a diesel, more torque. there is no way on earth a powerjunk could pull harder than a dirtymax dumbass

  • hmm cnt imagin where all tht power goes cuz my powerstroke pulls my grandpas durashit backwards everytime nd hookd up the duramax has NO balls pullin u gotta peg it jus to get it to go

  • Real? Then why are their Diesels so quieit?

  • Too bad you couldn't order one with a manual trans!

  • You don't have enough power to warrant a 4WD launch. That thing is slow.

  • hey bro i have an 05 excursion with a 3'' lift but for some reason when i put 4x4 my air conditioning stops working, then when i put it back to 2WD it works again you know that the problem is?

  • Man, that thing is a lot faster than my old 7.3 IDI.

  • slow but torquy feeling i bet

  • Imagine that engine a 2 stroke diesel!

  • Not bad at all for a heavy truck like that! And nice sound.

  • here you go i posted one for you and you have a nice truck there i like it

  • Great 7.3L bro! Haulen ass and blown smoke!

  • Very nice. Gotta love your Ford truck!

  • Damn she's fast!

  • sounds good. is it flooding on gear change?

  • Very nice Daniel.

  • Been looking to pick up a cheap 7.3L Excursion. I love those things, they just look badass like that. I know I have my F-350 already but the EX would be SWEET for road trips...

    Great sound man!

  • not bad for such a big truck. when i get my gmc gasser running, itll be 0-60, never lol

  • You Can Depend On Your Ford Powerstroke For Sure.

  • about 8 seconds, not bad!

  • your doing this in 4wd on dry pave ment you dont like your drive train do you

  • From what I've heard it doesn't hurt the drive train system if it's just short periods. He used 4WD so he could do a faster 0-60.

  • no any dry pavement is not good for 4WD the front and rear axles move at different speed and will cause a lot of stress on all the drive train. only use 4wd on wet icy pavement or offroad.

  • It's okay doing it in a straight line, man. Even those turns were pretty broad. Making real turns are the only time you should worry about 4WD on pavement.

  • you guys can do what ever you want with your own 4wd's. have fun rebuilding the axels

  • Again, there's no more harmful stress on the 4WD system going in a straight line than there is off-roading. Turning is a different story, but unless he's running different ratios in the front and rear axles, they're moving at the exact same speed when going in a straight line.

  • And from a different perspective, going WOT in 4WD on pavement certainly puts the system under lots of stress, but as long as he doesn't do throttle pulls in 4WD all the time, it'll be okay. But just cruising along in a straight line on the street in 4WD isn't any more harmful than 2WD.

  • powerful truck :)

  • great truck man.

  • hahah!! Nice, Daniel. I love that truck; its such a beast. 5 Stars.

  • mm ford im gettin an old 94 f-150 v8 well its my kinda uncals idk lol

  • Nice acceleration power! Peace :)

  • nice! gotta love ford
