  • Are Morningstar products like veggie chicken healthy? Is it okay to eat them several times a week?

  • Hi, I always like to check the sodium and fat contents of prepackaged foods. If it has a lot of sodium, I would pass on it.

  • @YouTips4U Thanks so much for the reply. It probably is too high. 9 grams of fat and 600 mg of sodium. Too much, right? Also, I tried your breakfast tip this morning. I had a bowl of a high fiber cereal with almonds and raisins in it and it made me full. I do have a binge eating problem and even if I'm eating healthy I find it VERY difficult to stop eating when I feel full. BTW, I love your videos!

  • Hi, it depends on how much of a serving you are analyzing. If this is for one patty, then it is too high. I'm so glad my breakfast video helped. Try getting up off the table and cleaning up when you feel full. Don't linger at the table because very often you will eat too much. This will happen to people a lot on holidays. They just sit at the table chatting and enjoying each others company and they pick and pick well beyond the full level. So try getting up and going to your computer.

  • I have binge eating disorder,and i AM not happy with my weight and body on some parts, but i am not on a diet,i am not trying to get weight lost,so it is nog always THE thought of a B.E.D person.(sorry for my english).

    I have breakfast every morning, just bread, and lunch, an diner..but after diner (and the other food moments) i just have to wait 15 / 30 minutes and i want to eat again. I am so far in the disease that i think: i must not eat, go away from the kitchen,WHEN im walking to it. :(

  • Thanks alot, i have learnt alot in those 20 minutes! It is wierd how things sometimes can be so simple and yet so hard to understand and change...especially when it comes to ones own habits..:P

    I have a question. I see my case as an emotional eater, and i can see that this habit in my mum aswell, so it is something of the moste profound negative habit I have I guess.. I am happy with my bodyweight and eat healthy, still i have this emotinoal relationship with food. Like I am alwys afraid that

  • wow. this is the best advice i've ever listened to! thank you ♥. I'm not overweight but i gained a lot of weight during the past 14 months. It was a hard time for me but i'm over it now. It's time to look forward and loose the weight again :-)

  • I'm so glad that i found your videos because I used to eat a whole bunch of stuff just because I felt like I needed to be doing something, then i found some of your exercise videos and I've been working out for the past week everyday. I've never been more motivated than now. I'm 5'5, 164 and my goal is to get down to 154 by May. Thank you so much for your videos you are such an inspiration.

  • Yes, I love them and they are so healthy for you - good fats and plenty of protein. Just keep them in the refrigerator and they will stay nice and fresh. .

  • you're quite a normal weight, it's good that you listen to what you say because there's a lot of people out there who are big hippocrits and tell people how to lose weight and then they just go eat like a burger or something while watching tv

  • One thing to remember is that fatty foods can cure stress. The next time you're stressful, be conscious! Don't reach for fat -- go exercise or eat a healthy snack. Don't cure stress with fat.

  • i have just watched a few of your videos and they are wonderfull. yes food is different than any kind of addiction because you cant just go cold turky. you have to eat to survive, i constantly catch myself eating when i am feeling bad. some people turn to drugs and alchol, i turn to junk food. i have been making a effort the past few months to eat better and not binge eat, and i feel a lot better but every day is an obstacle.

  • Hi, you are not alone, I want you to take comfort in that. I have received many emails from people who are struggling just like you. Believe in yourself and just keep taking it one meal at a time. You will get there. Have you implemented a regular exercise program? It can really make a difference in your perspective on life.   • Thankyou so much! you have made me see sense, i am a secret binge eater, after trying lots of 'diets' i feel in a dead end, ive spent most of my life on a diet but i binge eat, arrrghh I'm only 23 and i have diebetes and a few other health problems..I am going to watch all your videos..thankyou x-Nina

  • when you mentioned about eating without being aware, this is like a little situation i got into a few weeks ago, every sunday me and the family have a large sunday meal (with veg as well) but afterwards I don't feel full at all. I work on a milkround which includes a lot of walking and running, but the problem is now that the weight is piling on for no reason and it's worrying :/

    i enjoyed watching your video too, so calm and approachable :)

  • Hi, sometimes when you have large family meals that can be a time for a lot of distraction and too much eating because you're not paying attention to what your eating. When there is a lot of wonderful conversation and time spent at the table people often eat a lot without realizing it. Just being aware of this for the next time will help you focus on limiting your portions a bit.  Try to take breaks from eating if someone is telling a story, then resume when you are finished listening.

  • This may be contributing to your lack of feeling full. Try to pay attention to your eating so that you feel the satisfaction of it. It sounds like you have a very active lifestyle, but perhaps you are eating more calories than you are burning off at this time. Try eating smaller meals throughout the day instead of fewer large ones. Eating more often will help control the urge to overeat.

  • This almlost made me cry, and i don't even know why. You are truely an inspiration for so many people. You seriously should have your own talk show. I would watch it everyday!

    Your body is a machine, and it needs fuel to work. food is your fuel, you don't eat for pleasure (though it is pleasurable!) you eat to survive. You wouldn't give your car cheap, crappy gasoline, why would you feed your body that?

    That is my relationship with food.

  • Hi, I do try to do exercise every day. Three days a week I go to the gym for my intense workout. On the other days, I walk and run at least 40 minutes to an hour. I love walking!!
