I love how you can hear Jim Bob and Michelle's speech patterns and idiosyncratic phrases in their children's words. It's clear that they have done a masterful job at transferring their values to their children. Families who are centered around home (versus peers) are so great to be around.

Actually, this is typical three year old behavior. Little children are notorious for this type of behavior. We all, actually, want the attention for ourselves. It's human nature. What I love is that the parents don't chastise her for being 3 or self-centered. They just graciously help her and love her right where she is. Go Duggars!

@voltairex999 In my dad's side of the family, I happen to be the oldest grandchild (of 16 grandkids), and usually there's about 10 younger cousins (plus my brother) demanding my attention, and sometimes the adults need my help preparing family meals. I'm 20 (21 in July), and its tough sometimes. And awkward too.

@Dizzybear Exactly. "Me me me me" can get annoying. And whenever a group of three year olds fight over something like toys, it gets 10x more weird. Especially boys, they're the worst type of three year olds. I've babysat my cousins and my brother. When my brother was three, he was worse than any of my girl cousins when they were three.

One more thing, a bunch of three year olds DO NOT cooperate when it comes to pictures!
