Damn that's the first time I saw an act get gonged without the audience screaming "GONG THEM" in fact the audience sat dumbfounded they didn't know what to think of it.

I used to love the Chuck would say, after a gong...

"I don't know why they did that, i enjoyed it" "but then again i enjoy being sent to my room without supper" etc

That was great! I loved the Gong Show but don't remember seeing that act as a kid. Did you ever have the full act taped? I'd love to see the entire thing!

You know some acts wouldn't get gonged at all because they judges thought they were funny even thought they gave them low scores.

Why would Chuck Woolery criticize the way the horses were "ridden"? Live-a-Vision was well done and once the curtains were closed, it looked almost exactly like watching it on television. There's no valid reason to gong this act whatsoever, unless it was too good.

At least they waited a little longer to gong this threesome than they did the guitar guy. Seems like anything could set that bunch off.

Live-a-Vision was a great act. I don't know why it got gonged, but it did. If I were a panelist, I would give it an 11. That act is much better in creativity and quality than the worst act that aired on almost any other "talent show". As it is, $516.32 for the best gonged act ever.
